okay what's going on guys and welcome to a brand new episode of energized today we have a very special guest on the show we have undefeated cage warriors fighter handsome Paul use was that Hansel I heard you when he and Gary are full you know her but most handsome Milan cage warriors that's the what's the word on the street that's not even a question especially me as a bald eagle right now pity yeah copycat see you see me dude that's what it was he actually sent me it was a laughing face is there whenever I first put up a video me what bald head so don't know I don't know what he's talking about them maybe how you coming him nah no way no way from well probably me so start there and we've we've had like numerous people on the show and we like they've been saying like for instance I Pete's Carol they evenly sneaky and the question is being like who were the like biggest open calm starters coming from our own like or show up and they like your name any guy whose name come out all the time what like when you hear something bad how do you feel feels right at the end the day meanie and are well obviously you've got the likes of recent Joe but me and ended are the youngest I don't and everything but I genuinely I'm having a great time and laughter and I must say like I'm still getting a lot of training in don't mean a lot of ramen a lot I'm getting very very fit and I'm also obviously letting body heal as well with with injuries I just fought a month ago yeah I had a very very intense I wouldn't say fight comp because I'm always training but it's sort of because it was just Christmas I had three months to him a fight and I really just pushed a new novel that I've never really pushed before um and that was to do a couple of changes that I have made but man it's good like the body's healing but I'm also I've been that tainment as well and life's good man stands out as you see it's it's nice good first your last point I think that would go down and like coq10 cage mats at the back and he started showing us some of the moves and that I it just blew my mind I was just like this is course like I've ever seen I was like the fact that like obviously we all know like to Jitsu it's a bit smaller guy controlling the bigger guy and I I mean still not that bag of money about six foot to you at the minute but yeah you know but yeah myth so he just showed me I'm saying I was like I gotta go try this went to the beginners class and after about a month absolutely hooked I mean and from then on it was just Gaelic when i'd to window and that was me obsessed thought about it most later and the rest is history the hottest thing in May right now is foil Euler you mean by here first barrel obviously great boil in their face bit of backlash ball like Cage Warriors I think I'm you see are one of the only two promotions who actually have put on an event behind closed doors and would you fight in behind closed doors and you thought well I yeah like yeah it wasn't too long ago for an outside but would be fine behind closed doors oh absolutely 100% I genuinely would fight tomorrow and I'm not like as I said a father months ago I haven't obviously any Spartans locked in but my body so fit I'm in the zone when I'm training I'm when I'm head in the bag like Anna's case whenever case poor cage warriors pethau died last week about the non shows I just text in the industry in a way and I said I'm in sign me up for the first one and he goes here number two I didn't see it two by two years after the case workers put it up otherwise I would have been number one but me a time as I say like I just live and breathe this this game like I'm I'm not doing anything else in their spare time other than improving so if I was able to get a fight in the middle of us like I know what would smash anyone because I know as always I'm I'm working a featherweight there so I I would love to fight in the first one for sure scream boy I'm looking after you there in Cage Warriors he seems to be doing some great things with caseworkers is is the best one I'm to be completely honest and Ian Dayton is the man Ian obviously is all new ian is the matchmaker and Graeme and run the show but it's obviously the shoes are amazing the platform is incredible but behind the scenes the people are fantastic as well and I have such a good relationship with the people there I'm at emia story and my coaches we all have just a very good relationship I'll try to be a part of it and you tell me how many more fights until you fall you Jack Cartwright he's bouncing with you by you oh my apologies I mean he's a I'm a big fan of Jack korte rights it's math Brunel as the featherweight I'm presently boring him for their reasoning that was me MIT that was or in mortgage re a boring worries were common I knew their schedule before they even announced UFC Dublin so I just wanted to be active within the day like I won't fight as much as I can last year I didn't get anywhere near as my minor fights I want that I got three ended up here for know but like I'm sure even though I just came back from a two year layoff I want to fight seven he attains and I'm not I'm not I genuinely want to fight seven times last year and the one you know what I would have if there might have fights that I had accepted that I had sane had went ahead other than the police I had so Turner's yeah when we're gonna drop it probably after I get the belt or just before I say into the se but Ross has been following me for years we have a lot of content and a lot of really good stuff and that was sort of just our promo for for Manchester on whenever Belfast heads again in September there's gonna be a lot longer of a documentary so that's amazing content to have had in the build-up for it and then that with the results at the way you wouldn't like it so emphatically he was just like wow that's class you ask me they just all it all comes together but it comes together because of the work at the end the day like it's all good having this stuff and looking good and promote yourself well on social media but there nobody that works harder me and I genuinely I know love for announce the fact though when it all comes together at the end it's a sweet feeling but I know it's gonna happen I mean Paul obviously you've like you are a featherweight or you can't find some de voyage there and you you've tasted that loyal weight and if the UFC comes column will definitely be fed away or will be low way or will be a bit of balance between both and on what's going it'll definitely be featherweight I almost there like a it's not like I struggled the next fellow in its it's just the fact I can't get anyone to fight me there but from now on like as I've talked to Ian about aunt Anne to my coaches my coaches aren't let me fight up another way anymore like be genuinely art I sort of had the choice last time it was because as I said I couldn't get a featherweight to fight me from Manchester so Graham was like if you want to affect I have to move up Primus just like well I'd rather fight before Belfast than waiting to May because after my my my dad me for Kate worse was basically welterweight it was over like 75 kg on a day's notice don't I mean no two days notice got the call in Wednesday night Flair in the Thursday morning and after that my coaches were like that's never happening again he was like that was just to get your foot in the door and then just circumstances made it that I fought on the weight again because of the short notice but from now on it's definitely fellow it and trust me any fed with any if I get a hold of any feather at somebody's ass here I might width or their don't like putting them out to sleep in the first round I mean yeah I suppose you know if you do become a featherweight or when you perform the Cage Warriors featherweight champion there is that chance to emulate at the notorious one Conor McGregor I become a champ champ there's very interesting in cage Reuters 100% 100% many many people don't know but I must say already a two division champ on another promotion case conflict yeah I don't really say that too much this is case conflicts issue in Belfast I won their featherweight title last year and then at the end of last year I they're light with title so I've actually a two-year champion already so I would love to be the champ champ then the champ champ of Ches worse I'm the champ champ with ESC that's the goal I I would love to get the lightweight belt I think whenever whenever I get that feather weights job for cage words and probably within the next year like I'm still growing as well I'm still young so I think I like where I'll not be outsized that lightweight put it like that I would definitely love to get the the two belts and do what Conor McGregor did at the end the day basketball team right there and the following his footsteps would be would be sweet I'd like to be a sexy boy you made some joke yeah I would definitely like that fight understand I like missing Jones I think he's cool he's very good at then today he beat Jim Hogan and chose obviously my teammate is the man right so ever the same we looking back for Joe yeah I I sort of have that weird thing if my teammate loses or something like that happens I sort of want to always fight the guy who lose dude I don't travel aspect of us but I think like I was talking to Ian he doesn't know much about it but I think it's gonna be a couple of months at least like ya know enforcing yeah I think I'm going to get some people don't know about me I'm a big advocate for meditation I've done like silent sort of retreats and for peer in silence for eight days and and stuff like that and really really into that undermined and as you can tell with my main set towards fate like I'm I'm very into the main and psychology so that's Rosie you can we talk mind a break yeah exactly give up that's the thing we know when we've been doing these interviews over the last few weeks or the mindset and some people you can just see it and just just said well thank you mom that's a well that's I just live and breathe I still mean I'm just I'm utterly obsessed with just self-improvement high performance and just being the best and world like I really really don't care but anything else like I genuinely don't care about anything else apart from being the world champion engage words and then the word champion in the UFC like nothing that's why you couldn't your question you asked me that sort of threw me off because I'm like but what do I actually like other than training like I genuinely is all that concerns my mind like I don't really care about anything else I watch it better [ __ ] American comedians on YouTube song Chris D'Elia feel Vaughn and that's about it I gotta watch Netflix I don't like people ask me all the time did you see this thing in that I don't watch Netflix I don't watch TV shows apart from Game of Thrones because it's the best TV show ever but apart from that I don't I don't care where nothing else no they a coaster sorry yo man like yeah like it shows that when you step into that cage I think you know Cage Warriors will be foolish not to put a rocket ship but on your back and then same with the you see when they get you one thing are you ready for four is with yourself Annie and then reason is that it actually gives you a seem excuse to come back to your room and then come back to Belfast yeah hundred percent but it's sort of the new wave as they say hmm I'm at the end the day you sort of need a fierce for that and obviously the UFC could come over here and sell I choose with I'd humming there's guys on there but I think like it's not just because median and race it's not just because we're aris like I genuinely think that we're all gonna be the top at the top in the UFC it's not we're not just a token Irish guys like I said before I won't be the UFC one champion like and I'm sure Ian dollars and restalls as well like we're not just we don't want to be the guy Oh for me a vamp when they come down and that's it we're going for gold and I know I'm going for gold anyway yeah oh I think your skill level is unknowable and I think you guys are main eventers as aziz you know you know that's what I mean isn't like the you see can put the rock chip on your white-eyed last year and we know quite a few sessions together I see became friendly enough for a really nice guy I'm good man like there's no difference in these guys and me and I think that's a lot of where my confidence comes I've been very fortunate to be able to tree in places around the world for example Gilbert Melendez Jim El Nino I trained there for three months one summer when I buy myself got a job worked untrained I went to I've tried gyms like Team Alpha meal because it's not far away I just went out for a couple of days where else and tiger might I obviously and I've trained but like as I said Alex ball cannot see the UFC featherweight champion and I'm hi I'm right there at that level like I I know how good I am not sort of what gives me the confidence as well and what I do know for a fact is all these all these champions are absolutely no different than me absolutely no different they've just tripled I know what they did at and they've put that grain and there was just no secret there's no secret formula it is game they put theirs and and they've got rid of all external stresses stimuli that they don't made and they just focused on being a world champion and that's sort of where I'm at right now I don't like a baby I do yes overall the brother an older sister and they both live in Sydney where I was actually born and yeah earlier mentions the rough we after I had surgery in my hand as I was saying with this the injury lay-off after I had surgery and he told me I needed to take a year right and I was like right well that's the perfect opportunity so good I lived and lived the life right there but of course it was just the grain like I was told in the gym every day this official be I think people have to learn a whole lot of [ __ ] about you you know to be honest people probably just see the sort of the alter ego Paul the persona that's [ __ ] thank you exactly that's a different me in there you know I mean a lot of people don't know me so yeah but I heard like before I know what you you messed just earlier saying you wanted to work enough hands so we're gonna let you get back to that now in a second here brother we wrap things up like
