fight at your championships this sunday we have kieran slim brady coming in at 5-0 and elvis luco coming in a four now two of the lads are undefeated someone's always gotta go and someone's gonna add a nice shiny new belt to their collection lads how are you doing oh good boys thanks for having us on as usual here's our two main man two best man for the job yeah that's enough compliments for us elvis right kira and you beat that compliment i have to beat yours up boys you know yourself no thanks very much for having me on lads i appreciate it i appreciate everything you do for the show and i'm sure and this mma community in general has helped crush us voice thanks jesus that's a bit deep lads thanks emil normally it's also you said nice thing about you guys but uh kieron we'll start with yourself you're sliding on this card for uh jordan bradshaw and obviously you're fighting elvis now what's your take on the change of opponent and it looks like a belt has been brought to the table so is this a is this a positive change for yourself oh yeah definitely and me and alex have been we think we were matched twice before um once in the first day or and then obviously albus got the chance to go for the cage legacy belt i think that got in the way of that fight and and then i or the last clown was our last weekend we were supposed to fight two weekends ago but then i think i'll see the issues with moving gym and stuff so that's done the way that but that's it's came through and happy days you know we're gonna we're gonna get the fight that's good yeah the best thing to be fighting the best um and this vision in the country so why not i'm happy to do it exactly and elvis was there any hesitation knowing that you're gonna fight uh here on obviously kiron's a bit of a late no notice specialist himself he'll have to step in on a few days now let's take a fight yeah no fair play to you karen for stepping in earlier now it takes becky um you know it was a bit late for fair peter for jumping on and uh yeah now it's just it's we were supposed to be fighting it was me twin brother i was supposed to be fighting the first time and then the next deal was a gym situation just about the [ __ ] but at least we're having it now this uh this sunday yeah before we get into things lads uh i wore fc3 is on this sunday april 3rd and if you want to check out the pay-per-view absolutely yeah your fighting championships is unbelievable jackie puts on an absolute phenomenal show every single time from start to finish it's a real fighter show and uh i can't wait to see it this sunday um guys let's get into it kieran what do you make of elvis skills that obviously you've prepared from once before and what do you think he brings to the table you should make studies obviously with his record he's um very effective he hasn't spent an awful lot of time in the cage really he's been getting boys out of the way they're quite early i was very impressed with this last factor against taylor quinn um considering ocean taylor had such a good fight uh he impressed me against hillary yeah that was a looks good cage legacy like you blew the roof off the place like yeah yeah yeah you stole the whole entire room fair play yeah to be honest boys like i haven't watched one of your fights kiron or i don't know what who you've been fighting to be honest but what you heard you're very good and you're forever now so obviously shows your opponent the work and you're putting in the time for the training so i'm looking forward to traveling down on sunday may and elvis i i know you said before you can make 125 pounds is that something that you look to do in the future and do you think you might be giving up some size here flyweight yeah 57 boys i'm looking to so the plan is to fight another two or three flights and then straight into bellator i fly away that's the plan there's a bellator coming on september they're up to dublin and that's the plan i'm trying to get as many flights as i can get them all done get the wins and then straight into bellator for 57. and carol i think that's an exclusive rush i think it is definitely uh kieran do you think uh elvis might be overlooking you saying he's already looking to go on pro and fighting a bell tour or you just respect that that's it that's his dreams that's his wishes yeah he has the guy has his plan sat in his dreams set and we all have to have them obviously i'm not going to make it easy for him definitely not but i have my dreams and my goals set and getting about runways one one would be one of them and i'm hopefully going to get a clown watch title shot too which doesn't make me think anything less of this fight but with ls being the interim belt um i'm just going to go like as any other fight i mean regardless whether there's a belt involved or not i don't like losing and i don't want to lose i don't think i will this sunday i don't think evie is like the laser no no it's not me boys definitely not and i think you have to look at it this way like you could definitely i don't know whether you use both gria i'll start with yourself here on but would you agree that the winner of this fight is probably the best amateur bantamweight in the country well i know not really i'd have to be honest with you there i don't think that would be right because we have the likes of russian fox even donald brand from my gym too um look but there's a lot of very good battlemates in the country and uh i think first of all we all need to face each other and once we do that we'll all be ready to move on and like we're all this is um there are so many scenes buzzing i'm sure you as well know that and yeah we went through this journey together here so i think the more we approach each other and the more we fight each other and work out what level we're all at then we're all ready to hit the big shows like i was just saying there and in no time you know we're we're on the right track so i'm happy without without my plans going yeah and and even to be considered for you to say that um sort of consider myself as that but i've still i feel like i've still got plenty of work to do and i'm going to keep doing that but hopefully still pick up wins in the way on the way through there and what about yourself elvis do you do you think a win here makes you number one in the country um no not really i agree with what kieran was saying about with their there's a lot more boys but is what i'm saying is if they're active you know i mean if they're going in they're fighting every few months and they're showing that they're the best well then i think they are then yeah it's separate i suppose whatever he's saying there's about being active twos if you look at the rankings there on likes of topology for example me and i was both ranked pretty high because we've been really active and there's maybe guys with records just as good or probably just as good of fighters as us but have been very inactive over the last few years and but as long as you're active and you're i think that's much better fighting if you're not fighting you know so it's very important to be active and be put your name right there you know and get going that's right well absolutely um question karen if you were to win this um would you fight oh sheen fox so no he's in the same gym as yourself no that would cost me much longer i think now there's talk of hopefully me getting the clown wars title shot so i'm four and one clown wars so if i can get the clown more title shot i'll hardly step aside and i know she might also be the champion of um of their so there's there's there's uh why not have all the belts in our gym you know i i actually don't know if you saw but i actually think a pissed clown was off that uh when your last fight was announced i actually wrote underneath the campaign like why isn't here on brady hitting the total shot he's already three you know i don't know did you see that no i've never seen it but i'm sure that that that that would happen i would never mention it to them myself because i was afraid of pissing them off but but you know whoever throw enough fingers out there they'll check the bit you know no i wrote it and then they delete the comments and then there's a dm yeah yeah so uh that happened there so uh clown wars give this man a toilet shot that's what i wanted to do yeah i just want to say as well like having two lads on the way they're being so respectful like towards each other towards like even the whole entire scene it's like it's brilliant the way we can get this platform ross to actually promote it and let people know exactly what the story is with irish mma and how it's uh it's thriving right now yeah we want to take the best spoilers in the country and give them that platform and especially these guys like people want to see them they want to see karen play they want to see elvis luco like this is a fight that shouldn't be missed that's why it's essential that people actually support irish mma you know you buy the link in the bio off both fighters you you know support your fighting championships because the more and more places these voters can find fights the more and more shows that come on and the faster origin made will develop i i know what only the very person who almost complains about the show that there's like 30 fights on the show but like sometimes there has to be 30 shots on the show because these guys might not get another fight for three or four months and then sometimes i have to like check myself being like here look what you want me to do like tell some fellas i can't fight you i mean at the end of the day like it's hard but like someone that you go to the voice and you're covering them and then you know you're told the main card will start knowing it's locked and it's 12 o'clock in the main card then you kick it off you're like jesus christ lads what's going on here so uh yeah that's that's something i'm not not that i'm not looking forward to it this is my first main show i'm the first lady cured i'm used to fighting after in time so i don't know how i'm going to put the whole day in to be honest would they go for a technical map at some stage or something yeah but that's why you're getting it done on the amateur scene now you know so when you move you know exactly what the story is that's what it's all about that's true yeah absolutely yeah elvis we've heard you say you want to take what i'm going to assume two or three more fights before turn pro here on uh i assume your goals what are your goals and hopes and dreams because uh elders really gave us his career path what's your plan um i want to be a professional athlete i want to be a professional fighter um i want mma to be my life i want it to be something that i can provide for of family through and because it's something that i really enjoy and only like only started the sport just over two years and six months ago and so they even be at this stage here i'm well ahead of schedule as to where i wanted to be and i'm just really enjoying it because i love i love working hard i love training and if i can do that full-time then that's the dream come true for me you know and support my family at the same time and you have a preference on what route you go whether you go to bellator or go cater no absolutely not now i'll leave that all up the same of the sebastian torres my my and sean smith my our head coaches i believe the employees have our best interests and hard team and so i'll just make them make them shout so they just keep telling me i have a fight out fight and keep trying to improve that's my goal and as time goes on we've seen like will fleury just won the uae warriors title and franz malambo just won the compatibility global title like uh the the tournament like brad brave it's just that more and more doors are open and then that just means more and more brands are going to be coming to ireland to look for more stars and like here's two lads like kicking ass four now five you know you know i mean this is a this is a hotbed right now and that's why it's brilliant having your boys on uh also it's really hard to make money in this game so like sponsors are very important do you do you lads have any sponsors you want to give a shout out to or even team members and that have helped you along your way yeah because he is the only one that's [ __ ] helping out these days i'm actually putting in the walk with me and these phone calls i'm gonna do i'll do a bigger post for the boys because there's too many of them i [ __ ] i can't call them all out but um yeah everyone my family and mainly me brother yeah and the shout out to my um lane supper club the place i work uh liam marvel the the boss of our place has been looking after me for a few years now with my mazes and stuff and food and just even we handouts here and there so he's been good to me uh my wife obviously she puts up with a lot of nonsense with me running out the train all the time with the child and stuff and friends my family and i'd say these guys to everyone that's helping build this journey here you know we don't need any more compliments and this is the most compliment uh complimentary any guests have ever been on the show and i do want to give you a chance uh yourselves the chance to tell us how you're going to win come the weekend so uh elvis let yourself go first how do you get your hand raised home sunday uh like i said last time boys it's in the first round it's like i respect you here on well i don't see you going the distance at all you know yourself it's the free game it's how it goes you're in the boy game you can and you have to mess around you know what i mean but i say first round and mark these words all right here on what about yourself there we are i'll just work off that alien to get him out of the first round and get him uncomfortable let's see
