MMA Superstar boxing Superstar and some even call him on the influencer it's the one and only keeper Crosby Kiefer how are you doing bud I've never been called an influencer only on a steady influence whenever I never actually an influencer Ever you're the first there we have a ball but look sure look you're you're taking over that uh influencer boxing game man like whatever you torture turn your hands these days seems to go to goalkeeper um tell us this we'll we'll start off with the your last name May for you Cowboy Oliveira over in Portugal like what annoyed for you but even the people of the fight like between the twos when you face off like it was so intense what was that fight week like for you and what was Lloyd get to win over UFC vet yeah it was mad um I felt like you know when I got there like when I originally saw him before I didn't really think of the show I just thought of the opponent um I just seen Cowboys name and I literally jumped on it Jeremy I was like yes this is the phone I need I need to be someone like him and I'm [ __ ] in the UFC that's that's what I've been waiting for for a long time as years now I've always been calling out names and UFC vets I've always asked for that you know I mean so when I seen that it was like I have to jump on this well when I got to Portugal I really realized when I landed I was like oh [ __ ] I'm I'm the town bloke here on I'm not the fan favorite they don't want me to win this for you I didn't realize this until I got there and there was a basically a Brazilian Rancho in Portugal Germany and everyone speaking Portuguese he was the star of the show they were building the show with him but using me because I have a big profile and I come to fight and I thought they thought maybe he's just gonna walk through me turn them in so um I could feel that on the full week I could feel that every day like it was they were ignoring me and they wouldn't answer and back the text and it was like it was a bit all over the shops you know what I mean even at the face-offs like they didn't even tell me the times I was supposed to Face Off we just rocked up and I was waiting there for an hour I think it was running man and then we've done all that and it was just a bit of a weird one yeah but obviously then none of that matters you know I mean always the [ __ ] could just win this for you and get me hand raised and finish them and I kind of had that in my head as I go I better finish this this goes to the judges and I'm even smashing them by trading around you never know you know what I mean in this type of situation so I've had him yet I have to finish this person here I have to you know what I mean and I did and yeah it was a great win that was a [ __ ] a great win yeah I was very happy with it Kiefer if I was to describe your full install to anyone I'd just be like watch this fight this is Keith from Crosby like going in there like you're you're really you really showed up a lot of people and you made everyone know that you are definitely worthy of being in the UFC yeah yeah I went look listen or you can you know I don't deal with the proof myself to anyone Germany and other than myself so if you were to ask me the question the way you think would be able to win in the UFC the answer's always been yes you know what I mean you can you can always use your for your boys losses if you want that's fair enough bully when is the last time we've been in a fight that's been born whenever you have any of my amateur profits if you looked and gone he's actually a boring for you I Jeremy's I wouldn't tune in to watch him everyone wants to see me for you so regardless when little straw it's always going to be an exciting build up it's always going to be exciting Fleet and that's just hella for you know I mean and it's just natural to me to follow it like this all right more more so I lose the strike I love to stand I love to fight proper Germany and I love grappling as well of course and um but you know worthy of it yes you know I think so you know what I mean what else are you supposed to [ __ ] do you know I mean you beat someone like a veteran like Hellboy who's you know a world-class famous foyer in the UFC and he's beating some big names and for everyone and then I go in and smash him in one round and I'm a big profile name in Ireland and I have the whole country behind me and everyone knows what's up here so I mean there's only so much you can do you know what I mean I mean there's no set criteria that's the frustrating part I mean there's now who can do this and this and you're in like there's none of that Jimmy you just have to kind of Hope in a way so I mean hopefully I'll get the call and this I didn't and it's disappointed in a way but what are you supposed to do you know I mean yeah I suppose I suppose you you've done your part and like it's not it's not like he was watched either he went down and won his next fight as well oh he's a beast that's what I'm saying he had two four more three back to back or he smashed him and then he fought right after me and knocked the guy who was actually a beast as well it was a look at you and who's your father Judo show very nice uh you know throw and knock them out was deadly so he's still very much there is I mean and he's his last loss in the UFC was against Kevin Holland and he won the fourth round against him Jeremy so he's he's still at a high level and regardless of all that you know you get called the UFC veteran if you lose two fights in the UFC and people use that I mean I'm pointing the UFC bedroom he's actually a UFC veteran he's the most veteran you can get here I mean and you know I mean if if that makes sense yeah you must be plus plus 15 invite minimum like maybe even over 20. in the UFC well look what can you do oh that's in the past now I've done my job and I can just you know go forward and hope hope for the best was there any talk with your management in the battle to this Philippine like look if you do this this something else could potentially happen maybe a contender series or uh obviously the The Ultimate Warrior is on at the moment I know it's uh it's fully wrapped up for recording and there was a there was a lightweight division was there any talk of that as well Kiefer contenders you're just there you know I mean um I know I know rumor to be on the list or whatever but I mean that that in itself isn't a garden age I mean that's none of that is like it doesn't make me happy like you know or maybe it doesn't maybe for me so it's like you know I wanna know so I hate all this I'm in limbo like what do I do here am I fighting in August September October I don't know I need to know what I'm saying so that's why I took that boxing for it's because I'm sitting around I'm training but it's like I'm not trying to fart anything I'm just training and it's very frustrating and you know you have to pay the bills when you can see going to the gym doesn't earn me money you know training and sessions don't earn me when they cost me to go drove to the gym every day twice a day it's costing me money you know I mean eating clean and doing all the routine stuff so like I needed something to kind of keep me focused on something and earn a few bobbin you know what I mean I'd like to know if I was on the contender series you know where you're freaking in you know September against whatever whoever you know what I mean and that'd be great but I haven't heard that so let's see what happens well if you don't get the direct Hall hopefully you are on the contender series and you'll definitely get you back on because uh I'm sure you'll have the whole of Ireland staying up all night to watch you on Tuesday no you're awesome yeah absolutely absolutely and like look there's been a larger Porsche European Talent at the moment than there has been in a while so like hopefully that is coming like I know we saw Shannon banners in the UFC now I know I know you actually do some strand training where and we saw a recent Keys been sewing we saw Ken like rand's been sawing you know I mean they're looking at Paul used gets on so hopefully all these guys can keep on getting someone into the UFC and then we'll then in turn wow what's called have yourself added to that list and like hopefully we can have Pro Park next year and hopefully we can have that big successful occasion yeah that'd be something else you know I mean I don't see why not look there shouldn't be a limo or a cup or a [ __ ] you know everyone's just kidding like I mean if you're a good foyer and extreme foyer I win a fruit you know let's go let's give it why does it have to be this big before continuing like oh you know I only saw in the future so you know all of it's only everyone throw everyone Jeremy and there's so many good four years in this country man there's so many good four years and are so unique as well how we go about ourselves how we flee and we bring something very different to the table oh you think you know what I mean even from a tour of personal mom looking at it from a fans perspective you know what I mean it was the most exciting player that's ever fought in the UFC ever it's an Irish man's Corner Germany and so like if you get older large people in there they recommend how many Americans are so into the UFC yeah no 100 agree I think there's I think like a major factor for UC fully pass selling ourselves is because Roy or she couldn't help and then like uh I think now that more people are being saw in from Ireland they know themselves that like it's 10 years since UC Dublin back in 2014 in next year from the tree Arena when obviously Conor beat Brandel and all the Irish one they're going to be doing a UFC double next year because as you can see from the the London cards they're they're sort of tailing off a bit and like it like UC Dublin is like gonna happen and there's no way you will not be on the card the likes of Lee Hammond as well uh Danny McCormick uh Paul Hughes and there isn't potential like for other people as well to be on the card as well so like I mean they know yeah but you need ticket sellers found there yeah I heard Kingpin boxing needed ticket teller so they ride the Big Daddy yeah how did that one come about actually the the Kingpin because obviously it was interesting to see yourself in keen on uh two Ray performances uh very impressive both you guys and really really put on a good show for the Warriors fans but held that come about in the first place yeah well they text me before um the cowboy for you they actually but maybe two weeks before kale boy and they reached there and they were like if you want any interest in for you and Aaron from Geordie Shore and this boxing joke and the way I thought there was like now I'm focused on this free that's all my mindset is on now I never think before you ahead you know I was just think whatever that's what I folks on so I couldn't even think about that I was like not interested at all to be honest and after this I'm gonna be in the UFC that's because I literally was convinced I was like I'm gonna go in here and beat this man 100 I get in the car look generally this is why I need and that was me mindset back then after the for you obviously wait a week or two they reach out again any interest in Aaron grateful blah blah I said listen now my goal is the UFC that's what I want and then they just kept hounding me kept reaching out and it was kind of obvious it was like I looked at the people on the card and I was like oh you didn't know any of them didn't know one player in the car at me so I understand there's a guy they need an Irish but they need me to come in and help sell the tickets to get a bit of interest from the local people and then obviously Ian got the same kind of call as me and I was like I didn't do that you know I need to tell us to come in here and kind of push the ticket sales and that was fair enough and obviously some of the lads that worked for Kingpin used to work on bummer back in the day so they realized that meant to take us to sell and most of the you know I mean the buzzo will generate for the week or whatever so well I was again I was kind of him and Horn about it and then I was like I don't know if I wanted the audience to be honest I just yeah but then I'm sitting at home on training I'm frustrated at this UFC thing I've no desire to have another MMA for you and this is in the UFC to be honest so I'm sitting here going what do I do here like cheering they were 4K and just not you know train off or something so I said you know [ __ ] I'll just do it here in a few Bob have a bit of fun make a bit of noise and it's in a trailer and that was a big incentive you know what I mean it was I haven't fought there since 2020 so I just said yeah forget look I mean I've had hard as far as in the gym then not no disrespect I aren't like the people are Inspire him and I like I'm getting punched in the head anyway managed to get a few quid for it that's why I kind of looked at it you know he's not gonna knock me out you know I mean he's not gonna it'll Clash me I'll get a class in the gym boy level four years giant no more levels you know what I mean so um I just kind of I walked around quick I couldn't only saw in the contract like maybe five weeks before that four or four weeks I wasn't really I didn't really train like for a big stint really yeah What was a three minute rounds or two minutes yeah exactly like like that you'd have that in your locker no bother most days of the week anyway you know what I mean like whatever happened to put the training camp in if you if someone keep records between five threes no bother to him no minutes it's different than fairness it's a different sport you know I mean it requires different Energy Systems and you know it's the output is a lot different than an MMA you know I mean the pace is very different there's a lot of like brake strike brake strike after you know keep throwing shot score your points and rack up the shots and obviously are obviously I'm always looking for that perfect knockout shot I'm always looking to knock people out but you can't just fight like that for five rounds you have to be smart and if you watched it before you I said it beforehand they're gonna oh box them I'm gonna outclass them and then I'm gonna knock them out I didn't knock them out but I did ill box on my nail class them and then I dropped them twice in one round and fairness tell him he got up and he bit down and he came forward and I wasn't expecting that from when I ordered them I heard them twice bad his always were literally rolling and my head I was thinking he's gone here like I just have to finish him once more and important fantasy bit down and Fork hardback so uh big respect to him for that to be honest I wasn't expecting him to be you know that resilient that tool for me and have that in him that dog so and friends don't he's a lot better than people even give him credit for even me like probably beforehand overlooked him a little bit I knew he was good but I didn't think he was going to be even that good if that makes sense you know what I mean yeah Kiefer like I I tuned in to watch all the stuff in the build up it as well like yourself on the bike like you're a comedy gold man like this isn't uh an exhibition this is an execution like the Face-Off you had with Aaron as well like uh talking about this isn't Geordie Shore and all this sort of stuff like it was it was only it was so funny you totally stole the show from these quote-unquote influencers um like as Ross says you probably are the biggest influencer on the card now uh Burr you're one getting their tits out but um like as you just said there like Aaron he put on a great performance because like he he was almost like we've met Aaron before he's actually a great guy and he was almost like proven to himself like he was going into your back garden and uh like he really brought it here but uh like obviously you came out on top as well but like one thing one thing the entrance song Crazy World walking out to Azan like when did that come to your mind that that was going to be the perfect song Because when that went on [ __ ] helmet who normally mixes on my my entrance music and all this and we were talking about uh years ago um and he said oh it's a great engine song the whole crowd now I guaranteed everyone's going to sing along and then he had it mixed and then at the last minute it changed it it's a [ __ ] Maniac funny enough you remember America iconic yeah after that then I was like um I couldn't regret it not coming after that and then the pandemic happened and then I hadn't fought there in years and then Christy literally just passed away a month ago so on the day I thought was his month's mind one month um he he passed away so it kind of just made sense I was like this makes so much sense to walk into this song now you know so I was like and I worked so well the whole credit was saying it wasn't I fought in the Terraria it was me seven times that was 100 by far the best walk go and experience I've ever had in my fighting career so far I've never seen that like I was actually nuts everyone was under free singing it it was like it was just talking mad yeah and I wasn't expecting it to even be like that big but in France the Kingpin they went and had put on a big big production show you know what I mean so it was um it was something to remember for sure yeah yeah can I just ask you about the crowds sorry Ross you're obviously got the Katy Taylor for you uh you're obviously competing in this one and you've done numerous shows of Bellator what's the difference between the Bellator crowds the Kingpin crowd and the Kelly Taylor crowd well the Kingpin crowd was a lot of Brazilian people there um yamanda event I didn't even know who he was but he's a huge big Global Superstar 60 million followers on Instagram you know all you didn't know he was but um when we went to even the press conference all the men the Brazilian people over there and there's a lot of Brazilian people in Ireland and in Dublin so they all went to support him locally the Brazilians also loved the Irish today I mean and they loved yesterday you had rich people basically that was sitting there oh it was rings I got three tickets around down there um you know that was weird on them Bellator is kind of just like I don't know I think the crowd is weird now it's going out here I'm missing it a bit with Bellator used to sell out back in there it's a bit choppy now maybe because they haven't got that big dog back on oh man yeah they would take a salad but I sign them I'll say I don't want to block because James next week here in American corner and James next week so I don't want to rock the boat down with you yeah um yeah yeah I don't give up you don't have to rematch Aaron and Bellator yeah come on let's be real no come on now you know the crowds are great though I don't know and Dublin is the best place for you I think well I haven't fought everywhere in the world but from what I was saying you just don't get a crowd like you're always crowd man it's just it's just magic imagine imagine the UFC came back here yeah imagine the [ __ ] UFC come back here and we were trying to recreate the 2004 imagine them on at least on and everyone else you get big [ __ ] 10 of us on it all at once imagine what that'd be like it'll do it you know I mean like it's never been done before like honestly man it'll be [ __ ] I can see that happening like no I just I just know it's gonna happen I just know what's going to happen Jeremy and I can't I can't take no for an answer and Away with this you know what I mean I just know aware and it's it's a great thing that the boys got something this week um as well obviously she I know she had a bit of a hiccup last week doesn't matter though she's still blue made a great impression a lot of media she's doing a great job hopefully now she gets another shot and goes in Just Smokes whoever you know it's a big [ __ ] task as well yeah UFC debuts a lot of loading on a man it's a lot of pressure I mean and they put obviously a lot of pressure on her building are open we thought she'd done a good job went three rounds it was a good free entertained and she showed some skills I don't think she showed all of her ability but imagine like it comes back to Dublin what will you be like comfortable in our backyard it'd be [ __ ] magic yes I understand I'm hopeful that'll happen [Applause] weather-wise we're not great for doing the outdoor stadium but like the tree is almost too small for a shout of the magnitude that we can actually bring it now you know and so like yeah we we have to we have to uh I know uh what's called we had the big top out in uh in the red camera we need we need to we need to build like dot except like 100 times bigger somewhere yeah that that can be done definitely yeah they're doing is it Wembley I mean that's that's that can be done easily I just don't know if they wanted they would like that I mean imagine Conor Main Event in Crow Park and everyone else and then all of us on doing the car like that'd be just I'd love to see the bill at uh Ireland versus the rest of the world like that's that's what people want to say like philosophy in this kind of I don't want I have no dessert foreign yeah sure everywhere you go you bring the Dublin flag and the Irish flag as well man like yeah everyone Ever Knows like you represent Ireland like well like the fights you put on as well Jesus man I'm surprised like you don't give many people nightmares man yeah you know we're showing up it's a mad sport you have to be kind of a special type of person to to have the courage to do this sport so anyone that I'm fighting you know they know what they're showing up for and also meter like always going to that Cowboys for nervous and I mean I was like this man has been in here he's not gonna be afraid of me Jeremy and him I'm just some [ __ ] European lad in his head he's not thinking of you know my big name he doesn't give a [ __ ] and I felt that off him in there like he came to me with no respect he came first 10 seconds Trump bombs he didn't give a [ __ ] you know I mean so that's why I had to just go right boy down here I'm 42 this now my old game plan was like the opposite I wanted to stay away and be smart and snipe on me I couldn't he just ran to me and starts trying to take me head off so I had the boy down and fight him back pull him on the back foot and then I did and I turned into a bit of a ward you know because obviously he saw tofu and then I just said right here we go again alarm goes off in my head like ah here we go again no that's looking for here I mean yeah but shout out to Keane for a live stream that as well because uh it was difficult to try and get a hold up to watch but also the documentary that was made in that as well Keith that was shot absolutely brilliantly it was a it was Unreal even The Afters behind the scenes it was uh the absolutely loved him and like and there yeah right he trains in SPG too he's braving media on Instagram deadly man he's [ __ ] having him there he documented the the money I put the clip up to today of behind the scenes or iron as well he has all that documented as well it's good to have all this footage I mean because now it's killed to look up imagine in 20 30 years having all that stuff all the behind the scenes the way he caught them all the you know stuff you don't really see I think of that's it's all great to have the iron I mean because you know it's going to be career is going to be over someday you know what I mean so it's good to have this to look back on all of it documented I mean before the movie yeah big daddy two the first one Adam Sandler the second one okay for Crosby I'm available Hollywood it's not mural is that mural of yourself still open the still open in town oh it's hard to build them down yeah the wall [Laughter] s yeah keep results or something like there's loads more stuff we'd love to talk to you about but like there's obviously some things you can't tell us like what in an ideal situation would you rather put the boxing gloves back on next or the anime gloves on next I'd love to put the UFC gloves on next to be honest yeah the UFC no that's that's me me I think you look there's probably more money to be made in this influence of saying don't get me wrong I I'd love to just put them UFC gloves on walk into that octagon and say I did it and I mean that's the whole it's my Mount Everest in a way so even people climbing down to everything I'm like where the [ __ ] is my climate everything they just you can never imagine why anyone would want to do that you know I mean but to me it's like I have to do it I have to get to that you'll see it's a goal and all you know myself well who can be depressed for the rest of me look if I can't just deal with you on me and I'll have to do it so so see what hopefully hopefully in the next few months we'll have good news and see what happens here [Laughter] yeah yeah I I I think I think it's something that uh it'd be Fearless for not to end up happening I think yeah like you say like you know you bring a lot of attention in you know Inside the Cage like sheer violence like even your face-offs are entertaining like just the like the intimidation factor that you're bringing it's like geez you wouldn't want to mess with that fellow you know what I mean no no no yeah we are matching person you're a lonely fella uh but it's one of those things where like when you get the face off cone you're like oh Jesus Christ like this guy this guy just brings it and then he brings it in the cage as well so it's one of those things where it'd be an absolute shambles if it doesn't happen I hope it does happen for you like on a personal and professional level I think you deserve it and and like it'd be great to have another royalish person in there and as they're coming closer to return to Dublin it'd be great to have a fight in the UFC before the Dublin card as well yeah big time Big Time my fair play this boy Israelis are always pushing us and getting behind us and tagging us and it doesn't go unnotic I mean really appreciate all that as well and I'm sure everyone thinks the same Jeremy and everyone all the stuff yeah and and the [ __ ] map Brown thing you pull up my God yeah my phone was playing happening Brian oh my God you're going to the UFC and I was like did you read the thing she's like no we're just saying the poster next before James Gala rang me he was like bro bro you're in the UFC and I was like did you even read the [ __ ] hear me the amount of people are ringing me and texting me thinking I'm in you know what I mean all you even thought about I was like [ __ ] hell looks really but um yeah fair play this book yeah maybe maybe I'll do that again yeah yeah baby baby that was a little bit uh too real but like that again we're trying to just constantly push the narrative that you guys should be in the UFC right here and that blew up as well you announce that I'm in the OC or [ __ ] blob yes let's go get the Bell keeper Crosby versus Matt Brown at UC Dublin 2024 that's there that's the scrap to make uh Keith just before wrapping is right now if you want to say to people tune in now like there's loads of BDK fans uh like whether they like can you just let them know like what you have to say before rafting support yeah just thanks very much I mean even since me amateur days I've had loads of support and crowd and all and [ __ ] like this is it means a lot of foyers will go soon I mean we're sacrifice now lives here and they own this and they have such support is is crazy and um I just appreciate it a
