we're bring you pfl Dublin special we've got two of pfl's biggest Superstars we've got leis mcgillin and Dakota DEA guys how are we doing doing good thank you yeah good welcome to the show guys welcome to the show welcome to the show is right uh guys all all roads lead to Dublin so uh Dakota obviously fighting in Dublin it's a big opportunity for you uh also fighting for 100k that's a massive amount of money which you more excited for um I think the Dublin the the Dublin part I think for sure I think every fighter whenever there's a card mentioned in Dublin everyone wants to get on it so um I've never been before it's going to be my first time so I think I'm more excited about that than I am for actually you know fighting for $100,000 no unbelievable and then Lewis obviously you had an opponent change H you're obviously originally meant to fight matis now you're fighting Wes MOA H it looks like it doesn't matter who you're fighting you don't like them H I don't like Wes May anyway yeah he's got a lot to say then obviously I've got some something to say uh to be fair I've had I've had loads of people been scheduled to fight and pulled out the thing is with that Mattis guy it got it got like it was open all over social media for everyone to see that it was confirmed and obviously terms come to turns whatever whatever it is all the politics aside he pulled out or he [ __ ] his pants I don't know but then now wesy might stepping in but it's just going to be different face but the same script I tell us this where does the beef stand from with you and Wesley moer uh when I was fighting on the regional scene stuff like that uh I just won I just I beat Martin f with a knockout on on V in my own town and all of us I needed a fight in December uh and he started calling me out actually saying he will fight me and not all over is it the violent money show or something like asking to fight me and stuff like and I was like if you want if you want to get it cracking we can get it going do you know I mean and then I seen him at a local show F FCC and then he started like trying to come up to me then if someone's coming up to me I'm going to I'm going to I'm not going to stand there you know what I mean how I am a bit wild like that so come there Fu on his toes a little bit and then he went ghost for a bit and now that I'm on the pfl he thinks he can try and fight me some like for some money fight in it yeah well I I do think H come F week I think this one's going to steal a few headlines because of that beef and like that's definitely going to make a bit noise we're definitely excited to see it um after seeing you fighting I think was Newcastle last time out like you stole the show there and you seem to be stealing the show every week ago uh Dakota is that is that a common occurrence with Lewis is it yeah I've been there like everyone this left hand of is everyone's always like oh is it is it it's just a fluke it's just a fluke every single time he delivers with it so I don't know what more he can do for everyone to shut up but it's not working at the moment yeah and then leou uh obviously you have a multii contract there with PFA are you looking to get into this tournament to get a 100 bags yourself next time out it wouldn't 100 bags e so course so let me sort out this little side mission on the side and then we'll move on to the main quest yeah yeah yeah I can't wait to see it you're you're definitely one of the biggest characters we've seen so uh we want to see more of you and uh we're delighted that we get to have you in Dublin uh also I think it's so Monday today and uh this show probably would be out and be over but tickets are on sale for a tener at the moment over here in Dublin so like how how could you not grab a ticket for that like am of money baso yeah exactly for people tuning in like you can't watch it on the Zone but like there'll be no better feeling than being in duin's tree Arena on Friday the8 to witness pfl's first event in Dublin we're actually just we're in the tree arena for Katy Taylor's fight over the weekend which is unbelievable but uh I'm sure the Irish MMA fans will want to try and beat that won't they Ross yeah absolutely uh it's it's hard to beat the Katy Taylor crowd but uh pfl are going to try Dakota did you watch Katie at the weekend and do you take any inspiration from someone like Katie Taylor I did watch it to be honest I mean she's someone that I've watched for a long long time now you know and I was gutted I was gutted for in that last fight because she's one of the athletes that I would have loved to see go out on a on you know a clean record because she's kept it up for so long but for to come back like that and fair play to the girls they put on a good show once again it was you know a brilliant fight for both of them so um yeah and the arena again like I said it just was wild it looks wild it was crazy it was actually crazy I put like all everyone was like uh they're all together like enjoyed the show it was it was a brilliant brilliant night yeah absolutely um guys here's something that H we haven't spoke to since since we did our last pfl show it was announced pfl has acquired Bellator and that really opens the door for you guys leis is there one person on the bellor roster who you be like I wouldn't mind fancy to go off them I never Str with anyone yeah I'm like I don't know could really tell you really obviously maybe Sergio Peters or something like that yeah hor guc I like I like hor guc he's a sick fighter him in it but yeah something like that is it it's only good time for me end of the day in it I I need more experience and stuff like I'm still in this game so yeah don't know how much of a back and forth now you get off her Gucci now but H he give you he give you the back and forth in the cage maybe just not beforehand yeah yeah and then Dakota obviously uh there's an absolute plethora of uh talent in the in the women's division is there anyone you're looking at there being like I wouldn't mind Lin myself up against them do you know what the flyweight division is really exciting for Bellator I think um the the merch for me is really good you know if we can get a few like I don't know whether they're going to do a tournament style whether they're going to do straight fights I don't know but there's a few big big names even like obviously there's the the girl that's holding the belt even below her there's so many good fights for me in there that you know like I said I'm only 25 as well so um I've got plenty of time plenty of girls I can go through there to you know earn my place at the top so I'm excited to see what the plans are for next year it's it's a little bit up in the air I haven't really heard what's going on with it yet so I'm looking forward to seeing what they come up with yeah I think I think everyone is yeah yeah yeah I think it's going to be very interesting whether they'll go down the champion versus Champion route I think they will in some case and I think in other case there are like sort of different matchups there as well and uh yeah I think uh one thing that will definitely be pushed forward now is the women's May side of things as well with the likes of you know you have Kayla Harrison and Chris cyborg going with the same banner and you have Laura Lissa peo you have Liam mccort like there's plenty of good names there to be uh driving on then you have like Elam McFarland uh down at close to your way Dakota so it's definitely going to be interesting and who knows they might add more weight classes as well and that's that's something that we'd love to see um with with that uh acquisition do you guys are you guys excited you think there'll be more cards a year across both promotions and yeah you'll you'll get more fights uh than you have done previously it's possible is it it's possible end of the day we can all it all goes off for both of us what the opportunity comes for us and how we are fit and ready for our fights end of the day that's what it comes down to for us yeah definitely and what about are they going to keep running I think the plan is to run Bellator alongside pfl as well you know keep them both going but it's G to be busy for them if they do that but it' be good to see anyway but we don't have a clue like like Lis said we just got to stay ready and be ready for what comes up for us yeah yeah yeah well pfl are going to be ending the year strong especially having this event in Dublin and 2024 is going to be massive and these two guys like from what I've seen with all the social media they us two are like the faces in the UK um like what what sort of feelings you get when you're working with pfl like what way they're actually treating you and promoting you L yeah it's it's just different is it like I've never see I'm on I'm on the big stage now end of the day and this is how it is and they seem seem to take a li a liking to me I don't know whether it is how I am or whatever or how I perform I'm just being me end of the day in it and like what do they say unapologetically make and it take it take a they take a light into it they like me and stuff like that and uh they treat me well and I do I love P I can't lie it's a m show on that yeah yeah and then also just feeding off that question Le when you hear references saying like you're the next Conor McGregor like what do you hear that those those people saying that and then if so what you make of that as well well I've he obviously you you hear things like that but ever been like ever been when your me when you well when you're young people like oh you're going to be the next conre bro like people just say things like I'm just like yeah m whatever just but you know what I mean you hear people say that's so you get used to it any of the day but I'm Ls millin I'm I'm I'm the first Le mcrill the only lisis mcgillin so I'm just doing my thing end of the day you can compare me to whoever and it's a it's a pleasure it's an honor to be compared to someone like because he's the fighter I grew up watching as a kid you know I mean he's the guy took inspiration maybe that's why I can hit so hard with me left hand and stuff like I watched that guy any of the day and he plays a factor in my in my life and my career in the day but I'm l mcgillin in it and it's only right for that yeah and then Dakota what about yourself like the the promotion you've been getting off pfl like how have you found that yeah I mean I've loved it it's it's been a lot to be honest like I felt like they' built me up the right way slowly like each show was like I made my debut just on a normal show first and then it was like straight straight into the tournament then but you know I was headlining it with Simeon and it was kind of like it's just built me up just enough you know Paris was absolutely crazy the crowd there's probably prepared Al for Dublin so they're just doing all the right things and they do look after you like I said it's just nice to be with um a promotion where you've got a little bit of structure like this year I've known when I'm fighting so it's kind of like I've been able to plan and do the right things you know I suppose that's because I've been in a tournament but it's just been nice to be able to you know know where my my plans are going this year and know that I'm moving forward each time so it's been they've been a pleasure to work with for sure yeah and they're growing so quick like this is the people forget this is the first year that pfl Europe has launched and look what kind of talent we've got on the card like it's crazy yeah I know you're one of the most famous Manchester City fans in the world I know tell me about it my whole family of buzzing we've been City F since we were like oh for Generations so now we've got a little bit of a connect they're all like oh my God is this actually happening yeah you're gonna have to sneak Le in next time I'm not sure we up for that no it really is unbelievable directory pfl have gone on since since they've uh come into Europe and then obviously with like the acquisition of someone like Dan Hardy to get his brain to get his matchmaking talent in there to get his like just opinion on how fter should be looked after it seems like a great move for pfl and I think that's that's just all part in par I think uh it's going to go from strength to strength and I I can't wait for this show I think it's going to be unbelievable I think you'd be a fool not to come and watch the show for um especially value for MoneyWise like I don't know what is the price are like for tickets over in the UK but like this is cheaper than going to like a local Regional show over here in uh in Ireland and like cheaper than go to the cinema yeah and you're getting literally yeah and you get world class talent and you're guaranteed to be entertained like the fights on this on the matchmaking on this card are unbelievable H so I can't wait to see it um just touching on that uh Dakota obviously you're fighting Valentina SC easy um for the first time I think in you know large MMA promotional history a brother and sister will be fighting on the same card uh which would be pretty uh pretty cool but obviously you're looking to spoil that party for them uh Valentina what do you make or or sorry uh Dakota what you make of Valentina as an opponent yeah I mean I haven't seen too much on her so I can't really say I've not watched a I've not watched the first fight in the tournament she got to buy the second fight so it's like there's not really much on her at all that I can watch but as for the brother and sister thing like that's me and my brother there's no there's no like you know trying to compare who the best brother and sister are is so we'll definitely turn up and make a statement that's for sure yeah when you had a face off with Valentina what was what have said she made me jump forget what she said she made me jump she like shouted boo in my face didn't she and it made me jump but um yeah that was quite funny we've had a few LS about that but um I can't even remember what she said to be honest I wasn't really too bothered to be honest um we just I'm excited to fight I'm just I'm just excited to to win this Bel and then after Christmas dinner afterwards yeah yeah that one yeah much better fighting this side of Christmas then than other side of Christmas Jesus yeah yeah much better will you be bringing many people over to the tree Arena on November the8th yeah yeah there's loads coming to be honest there's loads coming from Manchester I'm half Garian as well and there's loads flying over from there I've picked up a lot lot of fans um from that side as well so there's actually I know quite a few people flying over from there so um I'm hoping there'll be a big crowd yeah Le you're obviously gonna have more fans than theota there no yeah I don't know I don't know I maybe I'm I'm I'm more I'm pretty much Irish I'm more Irish than English do you know what I mean and I'm Irish heritage and stuff like a lot of Irish message me and stuff like that and all my family there in Ireland are probably going to be there watching do you know what I mean and it's just we'll seeing it of the day I know I know for the fact even if you're even if you're born in England and you could be Irish Irish don't always accept you for being for being Irish to get there but we'll see in any of the day they except I think I think I think the the Americans ruin that for everyone they come over here and tell us they're all Irish yeah that's true that is very true that's very true but go guys this this is going to be absolutely incredible night this is going to be something that you'll you'll remember forever I feel like both you are but H do you feel like you guys shine brightest under the biggest stage on the biggest stage under the brightest lights because I feel like that's who you guys are that's that's the way that's a cloth you're cover from start yourself leou yeah I I perform Under Pressure stuff like I like it I get a f of it I'm a bit of a weight to like that you know what I mean people just people shy away from things like that like but to be fair like e even for the co when we're we're on the big stage yeah and we obviously perform under those lights because we're we're here now the day and I'm like in my like natural habitat you I mean I get to cause chaos and not get and not get done for it you know what I mean I feel I'm I'm H I'm happy with that end day I don't I know how to get nicked for being violent so I'm putting in a superable man of the day and I get I get to get paid to have a fight how sick is that mean yeah definitely definitely well look you're bail for it little so we can't wait to see it and then and then Dakota obviously you know pfl are building you up and deservedly so you're one of the stars of the car H do you feel like there's any extra pressure when it comes down to something like this yeah definitely I'm going to be honest there is pressures you know but healthy pressures like you need that in order to you know perform like Louis has said that pressure that makes you makes you turn up and it's the same for me like if I didn't have anything you know that I needed to to win for then I wouldn't be bothered to get in you know so um as long as I deal with them pressures properly and still turn up on the night then for me it's a good thing and I'll definitely do that I've shown that I can um I've dealt with everything that you know that's been put in front of me so far so I don't see any problem with this either yeah we had John Mitch on the show as well in the build to this event and he goes pressure is a privilege in this sport agreed agreed I feel I feel that when I'm like under pressure and stuff like anyway I like to feel like nervous something like it gets me switched ony makes me more dangerous because you you're coming into that Primal urge end of the day where it's fight or flight and I'm so certainly fight end of the day do you know what I mean yeah yeah th% uh D just a quick one for you obviously if um pfl and belor do merge um the division for the 2024 season and there was a million dollar tournament would you like put your name in there for that yeah 100% that that was the plan originally when I signed with pfl they told me that I'd be doing pfl Europe and then they will push me onto the main league and do a a 125 Division there but I think the plans have changed a little bit now obviously with Bellator coming in and you know obviously there's a few different weight categories they could do so I've just got to wait and see what's happening next year now but um I'm up for anything like you can put me in with you know someone in the main League you can put put me in pfl Europe I'll prove that I'm the best in Europe again like it doesn't matter to me you know I just want to stay active I think that's the main thing I'm 25 so this is like the time now where I want to get the best fights in the good experience and then be ready for when I get a little bit older and I'm there you know um contending for people's belts that's the exact attitude to have yeah absolutely guys look you guys are on the stage for a reason uh no doubt you're both showing come fight night we can't wait to see us do it it's going to be an absolutely incredible event we'll have uh the masses for Manchester top team over ac across um maybe leave Dennis frong at home keep out of trouble but uh I know bring him but we'll see what carage he can cause there uh why not but uh no guys really really appreciate your time and
