Sunny Portugal how's preparation going good yeah just tipping away over here with Siri and Jamie abber just went home today so uh yeah about to be in FLA out getting shark PID by them two so yeah go home you send him home now J oh no he went home he went home no fair enough uh obviously uh Jamie one of the best amateurs at that way in the country then Neil Siri probably one of the biggest Legends cage Warriers double champ now what better person to get you ready for for your cage Warriors debut J you abely yeah absolutely absolutely and then Saul you're you're wck at home in uh rapping at home in Sun Ireland uh how's training been over here for you uh has been great like I've been last few weeks just staying sh um I mean I was in duin a lot more this time so like just got a lot good work in feel good feel sharp feel fit just going in there to get the work done have you missed jar the last few days up and D yeah I didn't get a chance to head bought him as much this time that Russ that's definitely something we have to talk about before J's last fight Saul like went over to Jared just gave him a lovely little headbut before he fought last time what what J how' that go you still has are best mates yeah so did I and then before I knew I got a bang in the back of his head and I was playing I opened up like a [ __ ] gay you wer you weren't slagging Sals cooking J no no no no he he was told to about the cooking you know I'm actually loving the cooking videos Man loving it yeah yeah I want to see more all I want to see more yeah the chef King Chef absolutely uh jar tell us this uh how much are you looking forward to to fighting in front of the hometown in the ORS uh you know as we touched on last time uh you know b m is going to be empty for this one that's exactly you know's gonna have to they're gonna have to nail all the chairs down because they be getting brought home with us know what I mean now it's going to be sick I just like I love fighting anyway know what I mean but I'm looking forward to going out and putting on a show in front of a home crowd for the first time so yeah she'll be a good boys like unbelievable absolutely and then all obviously you made the walk uh at the free Arena uh in Dublin what was that Bulls like for you and how much how much are you looking forward to doing that again it was Unreal like uh having like all your family there watching you and stuff like that and then they all team it just like it was a great atmosphere in general quite good like uh and then this performance SP for itself obviously I'm trying to level up again this time so n it's just I'm just adding layers to myself all the time now and the home crowd and things like that is quite good to get the energy going but once I'm in there I'm just trying to get my work done on my own you know absolutely it was H it was great fors last all go ahead bu yeah J can you tell us how the cage Warriors contract came about cuz like apfc is obviously blowing up a bit now here in Ireland and you you were a bit it was looking like you were going to be the f and then all of a sudden now you're fighting a cage Wars which is great to see can you tell us how that came about um well I'm pretty sure they just got in contact with Andy and me management for uh after I wrapped that last young FL up on apfc I'm pretty sure he heard me show talking after the fight and says here we need this cont on he knows how to use his mou know what I mean and I'm half handy on the feet as well you know one the best man on the mic um so last time you you you you got a l call up to cage Warriors and then you took you took your opportunity with both hands and you you took the win in Dubin like what's like now being part of the cage Warriors roster you got the new contract and like people are really looking forward to seeing you compete again on the 14th of October on UC fo pass it's been it's good I think having a bit of a structure with it as well like cuz now after the last fight I was trying to get something else in the middle of the summer as well but it just different things wasn't working out once the contract came through now I just have it's a lot more okay I'm going to do this now do the next one and then I could plan out my year a lot easier so it makes everything a lot easier that's the main thing because I don't have to focus on trying to chase fights or anything like that just know okay there's a show here there's a show here I could do this this or that so it's been great and so last time we actually spoke uh well not last time but last time we spoke on camera you said you wanted to be really really active and you wanted to keep going are you looking to get again after this uh this fight before the end of the year ideally yes like if I could get get this one out of the way and I think there's a Newcastle one will probably be the next best one I could look look at trying to get on to but all depends how everything goes I'm just going to take it one at a time but I would if I could get four in this year that would be perfect but if not I'm not going to stress on it I the all of next year to try get five fight 10 if I need to so [ __ ] it yeah no fair enough now uh just there's a few people people looking to get get on that November card so it would be interesting to see in Newcastle H what about yourself chair how active are you looking to be for the rest of year you looking to get back out there who knows yeah I'm looking to get out there for December anytime before that will be [ __ ] good but I'm pretty sure it's December at this stage um being T commitment management but not even want to think about that yet I'm just going to go break this shess face and then see what happens after that see what opportunties pop up yeah absolutely uh Jerry you touched on it at the start of uh the interview doing the rounds with Jamie abisa and Neil Siri what what's it been like to be able to pick the brands of Neil Siri and to get those rounds in with someone who was so successful at your weight class H ridiculous if any like like s will tell you as well it's is H his F IQ and his like his decision making and like just making you aware of things and how he just critiques things like he doesn't focus on really learning a loads of new things maybe like some little bits but just small pointers he's constantly critiquing the small things like especially for someone like me I'm trying in a long time now as well I've been around the block of a purple belt in Jiu-Jitsu I've been doing MMA since I'm 11th that's played in 1 years now you know what I mean so like like you've been in every position all the awkward positions as well but like even still he still has loads to learn you know what I mean he's like he's always finding things that can make your whole game better you developing everywhere with them not just on the feet against the cage on the floor like small details that that'll win your fights you know what I mean and I think that's the experience of like being cage Warriors Flo way champ and then being the UFC veteran that he is that that that experience brings along know what I mean like hard to get that off anybody when they haven't been in there you know what I mean yeah absolutely like he's been there there and done it all and uh he's got that cage Warriors gold as well which is probably something you'll be uh you'll be chasing yourself what what do you make of the flyweight division cuz obviously like you said you're not half bad at the out talking so what you make these other guys in your division jar you know what we don't even really look so because we haven't like obviously have dis me forc contract um with cage Warriors I haven't really looked at the division I know a couple of like buddies that are decent obviously you know with the champion and stuff but at the end of the day I'm no matter who I look at there's going to be holes in the game and like I believe I'm one of the best out there so the division's not going to be a problem I'm willing to fight anybody you're in there to fight and I know if I'm in there to fight you you're going to be getting upended for 15 minutes straight not a problem you know what I mean there's nobody gonna go bad guy you know that Bo there's nobody who's going to go in there and smoke me for any time in there you know what I mean or I'm ready to beat anybody but like I was saying because there's just so many routes to the UFC now through UFC F pass and like like that with um apfc and stuff like that obviously I fought over in America with them I would have been the first person to fight on um like International shows with them but then obviously the opportunity for cage Warriors come up and you can't get better than that can you like especially like a lot of the lads in the gym were on cage Warriors it was going to be in Dublin it's nearly Written in the Stars wasn't it know what I mean how could you how could you have a Dublin show which J Harris is a free agent and not get him on the show no what I mean just yeah be a it will be a it will't be a I think we were saying that last time we had John Jer we were saying we then got in touch we were talking to indan and uh you c a promo being like well you have to get your har on we send it to him and now look you're on the card baby yeah to right yeah it has to be do you know I mean that's you know give you that energized Rob know you know isn't it that's it that's it uh so I do want to touch on your division because you have a multii contract now and the featherweight division is one of the sexiest divisions in cage Warriors you have the likes of Harry Hardwick James hen and one there recently all these uh top guys Jordan vich is the current champion but he's gone up the lightweight but uh what do you make of the featherweight division for yourself and how fast or slowly do you want to climb it do you want to take your time or do you want to try and get straight in there with the big guys yeah like the FED division as you know yourself is like unbelievable like like every time and there's so many fighters in that division as well so like the opportunity is going to be endless in that sense for me like what I'm my goal for myself is I'm just trying to literally like round up my stats as much as possible I don't want any holes and my striking wrestling grappling whatever it is and how I do that is obviously training with the with the l and then when I get in there I just want to face whoever is the top guy there and then test myself see where I might be missing anything and then keep building on for there genuinely like um if I get through this year first I think next year I would then like to like start ramping it up a little bit more and it's whoever is there I'm not really stressed on it I think at the end of the day once we get in there like they could be good against whoever they're facing but they're fighting me now and that's the main thing that matters like you're coming up against me and whatever you've done before that I don't really give it anymore let's see if you can do that against me see if any of your striking will work against me see if your wrestling will work against me and from my from what I know and the belief I have in myself none of that's going to happen so once we get this year out of the way and then we'll go into next year and just try take out as many people as I can so so obviously you one last time in the tree Arena like what was the one thing you took from that camp or even that win that you've implemented into this Camp as well like uh my biggest a lot like TR amid is a 10 that like I struggled with the most was just like over tanking too much in there sometimes I'm like trying to wait for a shot to come or I'm like waitting for the perfect thing to land before I just start throwing there was a little bit of D in the last fight as well but I think I just like I I allowed myself to flow a little bit more and then after this Camp as well especially what J was saying with Siri as well like it just just been giv little details and stuff that you're like okay you know [ __ ] it just let it go and then whatever happens after that then you go with that so my biggest I'm a lot I'm getting a lot more present in there I'm allowing myself to just flow a bit more and that's what I want to do show again in I want I want to show an extra layer to that in this fight again just allow myself to go in there and just throw and then whatever he comes back at then I will react to that and take him out with whatever he gives me rather than me trying to force a certain thing to happen yeah and uh have you or James Sheen learned any finish to try and insult your opponent mid foight any what any finished both both you and James are fighting fellas from Finland are you in the gym PR you're finished together it yeah knew were talking about something funny in the train and around my you slagging me so that's what you say the only fish that would be happening on Saturday night is me finishing them yeah that's literally what that's what I thought you said as well like I'm definitely going out there to finish him is that what you mean like but that don't know any other finish apart from that yeah there we go there we go like that that's where you need to you to get in Jar's ear a bit and get him to give you a few lines just bring him down to b m for a week we'll have him [ __ ] we'll have him slinging out yeah that that be some documentary right Ross H anyone from Team Ry I was more than welcome to enter and I'm I'm sure with J on the card now the amount of entrance we'll have from B Mo will probably uh be an absolute record uh want to buy tickets they pay for nothing else lad lad before I wrap things up like obviously rer is going to be on on the on the this uh for this event um who's going to be in your corners for the event Jer can you let us know first yeah it's going to be Andy and nail for me um yeah I think of been there most of me rounds like being there most of me rounds with near like me and Neil get up to the gym like just the two of us get 10 Rounds in um twice a week that's like separate to all the other classes they there and stuff so I be real like and then obviously Andy's all the main sessions as well so they be the my two most familiar voices in there but at the end of the day you're in there for a [ __ ] fight it's like know what I mean no matters other than that 15 minutes in there nobody's going to win the F from the side of the cage so just getting in there and getting it done and what about yourself S I got Bobby G and then Andy will be in the corner there as well so like obviously like and um I've been oping HQ a go B so like Andy would have been saying a lot of the training sessions things like that and I get back up to Bobby and guys just to get a bit of work in there as well so like there'll be the three ones in my corner so that'll be good Ross Andy's going to be working overtime it's about time isn't it Ross he lifted a finger M man never stops working shout out to Andy Ryan H and also if if if you can get your opponent over to the corner uh the commentator corner you get you might get a bit of a voice from reder while you're there as well so uh it's almost cheating having an extra man in your corner with Reds are on comps we love to see it uh Reds do a great job on com so uh shout well we're doing the team right now special might as well say shout out the Reds R coms as well H we love to see him do more coms actually if I'm being honest he gives great Insight uh but guys thanks million for uh coming on uh one last thing we'll uh we'll actually just ask you is uh jar how' you go four and0 or 4 and one on uh Saturday night how do I go four and one we see me crispy bingo in this kid and blade then elbow as him while he's L and sprawling around the [ __ ] floor like a fish and then Saul how do you keep that perfect undefeated pro career record he's going to walk forward hit him a few times he's going to try shoot and then he walks into a knee there we have it l The Lads are coming they me business uh they've been working hard all Camp can't wait to see it come to fruition in the Orek yeah before WEP to anything up Lads do you want to say anything to the
