[Music] I show up the Irish okay what's going on guys and welcome to a brand new episode of energize the face off Ross introduced the guest man today we have a massive fight in the cage War as well the way to Vision it will go down arcade Warriors 145 in London on November 4th between James Jimbo slice Sheen and Jamie Young Guns Richardson Lads how you doing very good very good great games great lads brilliant Lads uh the world away Division and cage war is on fire at the moment obviously it was announced that um fig lack is going to fight wall head for the interim portal Reese McKee's going up a December day you guys you guys are on track to be next uh James how much are you looking forward to fighting on this big car because that's what it is it's one of the biggest cards of the year yeah I was I was actually only thinking that last night because people were around people are trying to like saw tickets quite late now but um it's I'm pretty sure it's on its way to be sold out and like I'm not I'm not surprised like the the card is absolutely stacked yeah and there's a there's a reason why they're stuck in the ltos because like I think they they they knew that like the amount of fans I want to see like from the start to finish of the cards so I'm I'm absolutely delighted to be uh to be to be honest I am so yeah I think it's the biggest the biggest card this year for cage version yeah absolutely Jamie you've you've obviously fought for the Bell before uh up in Mill way you're you're a seasoned veteran at the cage Warriors card and you've obviously fought on some big ones before where's this one ranking cards you fought on before um you know what from for me it's also feels like just another another cage whereas another fight for me um probably because I've been on quite a few Cadre shows now so I know how big how big they can be and how how much of a noise they can make but yeah and tell us this uh Jamie uh how does it feel to move back down to welterweight do you feel like this this is your new home and does your home going forward yeah I mean going up to to Middle was just me wanting to eat food basically because I love my food so um what's your favorite what what's your Achilles heel mom's lasagna it's better the next day as well yeah when it's cold in the division and he's looking looking to make a statement yeah he looks good um he's obviously he's on a five five flight win streak is that right and fourth fight four is it I have no clue how am I supposed to know you don't even know um yeah yeah but uh yeah I'm obviously not gonna you know talk bad about him or [ __ ] suck his [ __ ] at the same time but I think he's I think I think he's good like that's why he's in Caterers like everyone else because you're good yeah obviously Jamie thinks her things are very good what'd you make of Jamie as an opponent because obviously he's one of the most experienced guys in the division oh fine this is gonna the this interview is like the polar opposite of uh what's it Kailyn and Shanks like like I know I I know it doesn't look like gray TV but like I I like like Jamie said like this is where the top top guys in Europe and like Jamie is in cage Wars for a reason he fought for a belt for a reason um I think I honestly think uh we're two two of the best worldwide in the division um and I'm delighted to be uh final because I think I think we're gonna be one of the most exciting fights on that card if you look at both of our track records like we we've always been in excellent fights about of us and I think um I honestly think we're gonna steal the show this is a big fight like whereabase you see this one being on the card oh I think it's definitely a main card or whatever shadow of death I think yeah I think the title implications here I think um depend on what happens with Reese McKee going forward and the internal total Point like these these guys could be next guys up like let's call us bay to Spade um and that's that's what I want to touch on and we'll start with yourself Jamie what what did you make of the interim title uh happened the week after in Manchester with Reese McGee saying he wants to fight yeah at the end of the year where where did you see that and what would you see that going uh well who's and so Jimmy wildhead as well sorry yeah I've trained with fig lag they're good man both of them they're brilliant um they bring it so I'm actually really looking forward to in to watching that fight um but Jimmy's a veteran only so he's he's one of The Originals um but I don't know who wins to be honest I don't know who wins and I've done it it was obviously the winner of that's going to fight McKee depending who you know if he comes out unscathed or not you know what how long how long away six seven weeks after that yeah yeah definitely depending how how bruised and better they are you know maybe maybe even one of us jumping up ahead of him yeah that's what I was thinking that's what I was thinking like yeah exactly yeah yeah right who else who else in the division could potentially take on Rhys that well like I think I think it's either the winner of this or the winner those four are the top four of those in the wealth wave division James what would you say yeah I I was just kind of I haven't really thought about it but like if if race is fighting uh in December you would imagine that the interim belt people would like go on but like like you said like if that's that's a quick turnaround like even if you win that fight like five fives it is five fives yeah like you're gonna pick up some bangs and Roses so like I I don't know like I know your man what's his name parasoli fart Natalie as well like I know he's there as well like me and Jamie are there so it's trying to take a trail any one of us and if if the fight makes sense or like yeah you obviously play pirate and Reese's uh Camp ahead of cage where he's Belfast you had a great win in Belfast like that that would be another huge fight like for the Irish people checking it out and the European team for like if you have to fight Reese as well yeah yeah like I've I've trained right uh race on like um obviously for his next Camp I'll more than likely be trained with him again I I I don't know what the story is but um very very funny races is great going and we got some great training so I don't know kind of what the relationship is there but like at the moment we're we're kind of helping each other out so I to be honest I thought um I thought his plan was to win the belt and then hopefully get someone back with UFC but but I don't know if you need one more uh title defense or whatever to to get one again yeah they could also have rematch of barrels and they'll be up to four works as well shout out to Reese as well he checks out a lot of the shows yeah he does uh absolute legend legend of a man um James to tell us this obviously you won your last two fights uh you've got two finishes in your last two fights uh I must say um is there something different that you've noticed in your nasty voice that I've led to those ninjas and I think it's well in both in both of the fights like I've I've been definitely focusing on like I said it in pulse rate interviews that I was I was focused on my boxing a lot more um so that came true obviously in the April one that like literally everything I was working in Camp and I gotta show on the fight and then same thing in the uh the Belfast cards I felt like I could have shoveled my boxing a bit more but like it just happened that the the takedown on the Finish was there so like you you're not gonna just um stick to show them what you've worked on Camp like you're obviously going to take what's there for that other than that as well I just feel um I'm just constantly improve them as well so like regardless whether it's specific things I'm working on are just naturally getting better as well mean time and effort so yeah I feel it's it's a multitude of uh things no no I appreciate that and Jamie um obviously there's been a bit of a layoff for you I think that you haven't thought about 10 or 11 months that's one of the longest strategy you've gone for a while well we see uh fully fighting fifth Jamie Richardson um what was the reason for the layoffs uh I got matched up with um flaminus and I hurt my hand like three or four weeks out like quite bad I couldn't couldn't really do anything with it so I didn't want to take the risk of or basically fight and injured and I know you get niggles in that but this was a bit bit more than an eagle so yeah and and then and I'll heal up now yeah hands fine everything's fine fill in fresh so absolutely um guys I don't know if you've been to the O2 Indigo before um we've been there uh two or three times uh it's it's sort of a cold oh sorry apologies Jamie not we've been there the same amount of times as Jamie yeah exactly uh Jamie what you tell us you you fought there it's a bit of a cauldron and like it gets very very intense and what what's it like getting in there to fight well the walkout is very short and it's kind of like the crowd's like in your face yeah pick a short one yeah yeah you don't want a long intro so you just want to walk out there but like you're you're waiting there and the crowd's just there they're in your face especially the guys on the floor but um yeah you definitely you feel like because it goes It goes like upwards like a theater sort of thing yeah and uh you can get The Feelers like it feels big it's it's loud let's just say that is that something you thrive on or does not factor in or is it is it just it's sort of there for a few moments and then once you step foot into the cage that's not relevant anymore uh I think it does help because I thought when it was the independent where there's no crowd a few times and uh but there's benefits to both because like your quality can just talk and you can hear them perfectly fine when there's no when there's no crowd but um but then like when you're getting a bit of a sticky situation there ain't no crowd noises there so there's nothing else to like strive you on a bit more if that makes sense other than your own thoughts but if there's a bigger big ass crowd behind you screaming it sort of gives you that extra extra bit of oomph to to do what you've got to do that makes sense yeah we're fully expecting the crowd to be off the rails for this one as well like obviously Paul Hughes first three challenge two is headline card like Paul Hughes will have the Irish fans over as well as James and then obviously the English fans will be there for yourself Jamie and Jordan so it'll be like it'll be a nice warm-up before the main event Ross yeah no it definitely will that this one uh this one's got uh star power written all over I'm like I can't wait to see it for one I think I think it's two like we said to the West Coast now wealth weight division James you obviously walk down Belfast and you know obviously not Hometown when you have the Irish fans behind you do you think uh the people you're bringing over will make a lot of noise for this one um yeah yeah like to be honest um I rarely I I think even when I was walking out in Belfast like I think my dad or something was to the right of the Oaky and I I completely don't even take notice of the crown walking out and stuff so it sounds awful but I said I said it to the people that were there I was just like I'm not gonna love her I didn't notice it notices like I I'm sure it was without an accident like Jamie said um like our father GA halls and then I fought in like the True Arena the Echo and then like yeah I I I I don't know why I feel like it doesn't really I you don't really notice you're focusing so much on the opponent and like the the void that like the crowd doesn't even come into it they just happen to be there if you get me no fair enough uh to all their James Tina fans I'm sure he still loves you no no no no he doesn't watch the comb Lads you can stay at home and watch live in UC foipas that's not what I'm saying I'm not saying I don't appreciate support or anything like obviously after the photos only appreciate this Bob like open until then you're there to do a job and like I'm not worried about what other people are thinking oh who's watching or whatever it it doesn't it doesn't matter yeah don't worry we saw it afterwards you were obviously mobbed the Belfast so like yeah and you you don't you took selfies with the fans yeah just for the record exactly exactly now you're avoiding your point don't worry we'll save the day if you uh Jamie where'd you see you have the advances in this fight because uh obviously you're a veteran and I'm sure you've watched some tape on James where do you see you have the advantages or anything like that but maybe the experience in um in maybe digging deep in in horrible situations or um places like that um I've been there a few times in my fights but we'll see we'll see what happens I'm just gonna go in there I'm just gonna fight I'm just gonna fight James and see what happens you know no yeah this is why we're here to like hope to fight yeah yeah exactly uh and James what about yourself where did you see yourself having the vouchers or where was Lloyd before to play out um same thing like it's like you go into a fight like obviously where where high level guys and you're you're not going to be bad anywhere right like you're not going to be terrible anyway everyone of thought has been good everywhere um I suppose you can just go in like and let your the things that you've been working on during Camp you work them and then also you take what's given to you and then um like like like Jamie said like he's he's a very experienced guy um he's been in a lot of wars and I've taken that into account and I'm sure he's watched film on me and taking small pointers as well and that's that's the whole thing but like as of predictions are trying to I'm comfortable everywhere I suppose and when I come to the fight right on the ground or on the feed yeah no what's called them I I appreciate that man obviously you know you can talk as much as you want about any fight and how you think it's gonna play out but once you both get in there it's a different gravy so I will ask you on predictions because I'm sure you're both going to say that you're gonna win because uh that's what everyone says so what I'm going to ask you is that the main event is obviously won the biggest fights uh in cave Warriors history between Paul use and Jordan view tennis uh who do you think wins that I'll talk to yourself James um fugenics bye decision and I'll go on submission and did you think Lieutenant won the first one very nice I didn't watch it sorry guys who do you think wins and how do they get it yeah I think he was I think he was by decision I think food challenge is very good um I don't think Hughes will finish them but I think he'll uh he'll just dominate when it gets to later rounds I did watch the first fight and I think here's one there we have a buzz the first thing the lads disagree on is who's going to win the main event uh now goes we we really appreciate it coming on and to Absolute chance party or anything to say before take it away no I just wanted to go over
