yuri out to be vulcan and that leveled out but uh you know what i mean like these things happen man these things happen man you packed vulcan you said you seen him more and you thought he was gonna win i know he actually was winning at one stage winning winning a seven minute vote he doesn't say a lot i don't matter yeah especially when you're like i was winning until the first punch was thrown [Music] uh obviously we we do our shows every wednesday uh we'll see how that changes in the future but there is certain things we want to go over obviously we're not going to go massively into depth about the cards i'm sure all the people have broken it down but uh we are going to discuss the winners and uh who they could face next uh also there is ufc on tonight as well so we're just going to be brief looking over that card as well because if you end up watching this tomorrow you're going to be like oh no results and there is also uc on saturday as well so uh we're gonna be going over all the good [ __ ] roscoe bosmo i think what we should do is we should discuss the main the voice on the main card ufc 251 and then we will say whoever is going to point next after we've discussed voids themselves okay but then we start off with paige van zandt versus uh rebus yeah amanda rebas went in there um made a big statement uh getting the iron bar win obviously attacking paige's arm who has had that previously broken and has had multiple surgeries i think on the one arm i don't think her first surgery was successful paige is now out of the ufc uh reebos is looking like a top contender uh down in strawweight so fair play amanda rebas yeah john when paige got in that uh had an arm choke i was like oh cause like we know our arm is is like it's not a dodge yeah and i'm sure that went through a brain straight away um yeah yeah obviously no page it is out of the u.s he it might be forever but um there's something about when you're watching when fighters like you you can tell rebas is a murderer and paige is just like she's too nice i think she's i just believe she's like i believe that she got into mma for like helping the fitness and the being part of a team and then she won and then got pushed because she's so good-looking but um when you're up with her big big dogs it's you're with some actual certified killers yeah great great win for reba is all the same though and hopefully she can grow her career on the back of paige van's aunt i'm sure that's what's going to happen she's also very good looking as well i didn't know that so uh that could be it's almost like it's almost like the past and the torch one eight one in one you know i mean yeah like in france how how long would you would you say uh like on average uh career would be in the ufc i think the average career is about four folds long you know i mean because so many fighters have like two points that are gone you know i mean that's the thing but uh you know what paige van gaal like she sort of talked about him how she was making a lot of money and i think she only made like 48 grand to this fight um off the ufc but like she's made so much money off the back of the ufc and her name like dancing with stars like that was because of the ufc yeah and she's doing a very good job making her own money outside the cage which is you know a lot to be known for but everyone's so quick to bash the ufc like they don't pay the fire as well and we're not going to sit here and go ufc pay the fires incredibly well uh because they don't pay them a fair amount but what they do is they give them massive platforms people like paige runs out don't get the job done i'm like she's made i can only zoom millions off the back yeah exactly and then where she live again um denver no yeah i think so yeah i know where oregon yeah yeah near chelsea so yeah like that she's not living the high life glitz and glam in la you know yeah exactly so like fair play tour look i wish her all the best who knows maybe she'll find bellator and come over dublin yeah exactly let me see here again be like oh paige our mate and awesome shadow awesome yeah um yeah also in the buildup session people are just writing mad messages to her saying like just mad sexual things and uh were they yeah and like um on instagram or twitter they're like everything and uh it just sort of like gives the fans a bit of a bad name i know what happens with football as well i know but it's more racism rather than being like wayne rooney you're so good looking but when you start like sexual i know i said she was good looking but like we when we talk about that i mean like she's remarkable yeah marketable you know i mean uh i just send them all these like vulgar messages it just it just makes them make foreign shout out jay cardwell for sending their messages uh what's next for rebus ross we're doing that at the end man oh very very end okay yeah we're gonna do all the fights and then the end okay so myself from ross and ian oh we're correct that we don't know sorry i ain't got that one wrong intel page is going to win whatever you're going to hear a lot of that yeah myself from ross uh we're going to next fight jessica andradge lost rose number units by decision uh brothers after getting that win back what'd you make of that win ross rose on mules is actually so like beautiful to watch i don't mean in terms of her look system like her footwork isn't incredible her movement the way she pops out that job i think her job might be one of the best jobs in all of mma regardless of gender uh she got the job done and dragged actually quite good in this fight as well i'm not gonna lie um she sort of had a lot of head movement going on but it was also just bob in the head as opposed to there was very little coming with the bobs if you know what i mean so like though there needs to be more output with all the head movements don't go with it she did very well in third round she changed around she won the third round but it wasn't enough rose and i'm eunice she got the nod there massive win for her to get that one back especially continuing she lost her total to um jessica andrash so fair played rose big fan of her work as well papari well done in her corner getting her ready for this one on the rose and you know what she's also someone who's like severely struggled with her mental health and stuff like that so it's great to see her back in the wing column and doing what she does yeah jesus that was a bit touching there uh myself yourself annie and i'll talk roles has been i specifically have written down here a decision from you as well so you got that one right uh then in the first uh first total flight that we're going to discuss first of all what a fight period defeating jose aldo in the fifth round but tko um russ what did you make of this fight and second of all what'd you make of the ending okay so two parts about this fight i actually thought aloe looks very very good in this flight for the first maybe three and a half rounds uh it was a bit strange because i don't know if i was gonna say he was winning but i thought maybe he was two two one up after three rounds uh i thought jan won the first round and then aldo won the second and the third uh jan landed that big shot at the end of the first round which stoned although and nearly had him out there but allo came back it was it was quite strange when you're they were lander shots like allah would land like a good combination with a body kick and you're like geez that was slick by all of but when jan landed maybe something even less than aldo did i thought it did more damage to aldo i thought all those years weared on him in that fight yeah and i thought as the rounds went on especially the end of the fourth round uh when jan landed those big shots i mean jose alla was coming out half ko'd in the fifth round and then when jan you sort of you know took him down or about sorry knocking down and then it was a merciless beating was not it really really was i think went on for about 50 seconds too long yeah and again referee leon roberts probably going to come under a lot of criticism but at the end of the day this is jose allo a man who's plot more five round toilet voids than potentially anyone else in the ufc roster to date uh he is an absolute incredible champ and he was trying his best to give him every opportunity to be in there he also was trying to move position and defend themselves for the strikes were coming in too too hard and too fast yeah i agree with them coming in too hard but then just when the ref was about to stop it like it they moved position it was sort of like either that like more rabbit punches rather than like like like two three like a referee and yeah in the wwe you know you needed more like and then like off look it definitely did go on a bit too long but look peter yan made a massive statement there i don't think i was a peter young believer going into that fight did i pick out though you picked harlow yeah oh because his last big win was off your royal favor he uh he obviously uh knocked out your favor hard thing to do but if you put the two resumes against each other i was like i was almost saying that all those split decision loss or a lot of people thought the one to maurice was more impressive than yam beating your own favor that's the way it sort of viewed it so that's what my favorite although i'll have had some moments of class and i thought he did um i don't think he's going to retire or uh i'll look forward to seeing him get back in there but again we'll get to that in a bit yeah the wear and tear definitely set in as the fight went on i think at the beginning jan was giving otto a lot of respect which he understand because like obviously yan train what aldo years ago and he'd look up to him he used to be also a featherweight champion so a division above for people that didn't know but uh as jan got into it he's like combinations and sort of trickery the way you can give like spinning elbows also shout out to uh peter yan's trojan coach who's actually irish he uh turns out of a tiger moe toy over in thailand i thought he was northern irish well yeah yeah north norris but like he's an irishman he's a proud irishman yeah yeah i know i actually noticed that as well it was actually me bringing up the last show because it sounded better so i was like what does your mom do jan doesn't speak english really but uh as tom went on you could tell years of combat action weighing in on aldo but uh what are you drinking man cup of tea man such a liar oh that was that was great it was great to see uh that was a proper fight um i had it down for a fight at night i didn't win it but uh it was a great fight to watch uh so in that one i thought yeah i'm a win i'm wrestling ian but i was the older one but uh then we go to the co-main event of the evening um alexander volkowski defeated max holloway ross this went to the decision this was so pity though did he really defeat him let's get into it man oh here joe i'll tell you first of all i think and then you yeah because you know the real deal watching it back i thought halloway was tuning up and i was like all right cruising then the third one was a bit like volcanoes he sort of i think he sort of robbed it with a takedown because you have to look at how he won you know then the fourth one i think he won that as well and then the fifth one he wanted to take down as well i i was actually like welcome to one that but i'm sorry like you could give it away it wasn't i don't think it was robbery no i don't think the term robbery yeah the robbery term was thrown around so likely these days and i was like he was robbed he was robbed well i think the two most decisive rounds in the fight were m1 and two where holloway dropped balkanovsky twice yeah okay i agree with that so you know by a distance almost yeah i feel like they were there were obvious rounds it was like it was like max holloway el champione in the first two rounds right and then welcome to jericho reference no all right so happy holidays you'll know that yeah okay fair enough um and then round three oh scored it for max personally but like if you scored vlogging i'll see whatever i thought round four was actually more definitely volcanizing and i thought round five was closer closer again uh obviously i think a lot of people go round five it's because volkanovsky like finished on top of max holloway and that was your like leaving image of the round yeah but the round's not over till it's over it's like you know like lindelof nearly got mad in the match and then because he didn't mark me all over family someone said hopefully martin's the son if you didn't get mad in the match so it's not over until the fat lady scenes as one would say oh i know yeah but like i think a lot of times in mma and then may recently people way too heavy on a takedown but takedown only should only count as something if you do something with the takedown but this comes down to the rest as well ross as well you don't mean the refs are like the jordan i'm sorry george's yeah they're like oh he is on top well i was listening to weighing in with big john mccarthy and our mate josh the punk thompson and john mccarthy said he wrote the mma real book and he knows who won the fight with the criteria and he says max holloway definitely won that fight i'm not saying falcon arson definitely won the fight i'm not saying max holloway definitely won the fight but because i knew the results going in and watching it was it's it's almost easier to watch then you know because when you're sort of watching you're watching it and saying like yeah points for volcanos yeah exactly because when you're watching a fight a 5 round fight when you're going into it you never really think it's going to go to decision you know i mean you're never really like when you're watching a football match you never like draw you're like hoping one will win you remember like hopefully this isn't raw lads so it's all of a sudden in the third and then the four round you're like oh [ __ ] he was actually winning the rounds you know then then you're trying to remember because i don't i don't write down like round one like because obviously you're not too much i want to max all the way to win you want a max hallway to win i think they're gonna have to do it again at some stage because this this chapter is not finished because both fights max holloway could say he won well look at look at the way dominick reyes he lost to jon jones and he could be the current champion yeah but you know what it's a lot of online or to be the champion you have to beat the champion you know i mean you have to be the champion decisively you say that all the time no [Laughter] no i don't is that you should be able to you know win three rounds and it was two rounds against the champion and then be like you're the winner yeah i mean like yeah you shouldn't have to like blow the champ out of the water to get the job done you win i agree like at the end of the day going into the fight the judges shouldn't be like well he's the champ they should be like butter a and fighter b but they also know who the ufc want to hold the belt like during the fight you can see like steve austin was tweeting like uh coyler tyler tyler murray coyler i don't know who falcon's the quarterback the small guy matt ryan oh anyway it doesn't matter what the nfl players went number one in the the draft last year quarterback okay i didn't see the draft last year okay says your money the most famous of like travis barker from uh blink 182. these were all uh all those let's retweet from max holloway they're like oh max holloway but obviously max follows his noise coiler murray yeah arizona arizona cardinals quarterback man you were saying the allowed the falcons man matt ryan let no that's a touchdown but uh yeah like max holiday like obviously he's best mate to drake like i mean you wanted holloway to get back in this and then uh yeah he wasn't letting drake take a foe and before the fight no drake wasn't he wasn't playing a gig at a abu dhabi like what happens from here on air after i mean like obviously i don't think you could call it a robbery or going into the fourth round max holloway was definitely winning 2-1 according to the majority of the fans what happened there was some some happening 3-1 you know i mean so like yeah i know i think i can see both sides yeah we'll we'll we'll get to that after after we discuss the main event yes sorry yeah camaro usman defeated jorge masradal in the ultimate fourth stamping competition sorry in that in the volcano holloway fight we both me you and ian all tough old school as well okay yeah well i feel like i feel like i should have got that wrong oh you should have got that right and then won the whole competition shocking uh what did you make of that camaro usman's foot something uh boy against jorge mouse without i think he i think he did something like 90 foot stamps it was the most footstomps in ufc history the amount of memes i saw of like a bruised fourth said jorge maslow's foot the next day yeah because when you're looking at my mouse without after a fight he's been any marxism no he didn't need to be well you sort of had a big mark on his head yeah like i mean but like after doing five rounds of the champ it wasn't like yeah well yeah it wasn't absolute head in the blender annihilation you know yeah and there wasn't you're on the inject versus whaley jack no oh my god pull that torchwood but uh what's going into this obviously master that had to do something major um six days notice against us man who's like i mean let's call this players paid the best in the division it's gonna be rock hard to build off him because he because he knows how um he's a grinder yeah yeah he it's not pretty but it's a very effective but it's very effective it's gonna pay the bills and truly two three three now i think it is and he hasn't got much longer left but he will do if he stays at that sort of rate and uh when you're the champion you need to be someone who's coming to beat you and then looking at that list now i don't know who can come in roswell this one's probably making me cool millie every fight you know i mean i'm like taking very little damage uh do you think you're many fans after that absolutely not uh i don't think uh there'll be people clamoring to buy the pay-per-view either uh his next pay-per-view but as you said look he got the job done yeah uh he was very reflect effective in the clinch um i was very impressed for him as well as take down defense and his ability to get back up to his feet but at the end of the day guzman i'm going to say ooze mandom uh i just saw a lot of people say usman ragdoll them but i think he only got like five takedowns in the fight and he didn't hold him down for like five rounds he wasn't throwing him around the house he was sort of just holding him up against the fence doing his foot stamps um look that was enough to get the job done fair play to usement but i think if jorge goes away and he wins two there could be a rematch down the line this home stage you know i mean no but uh all right what did you think of the boy like so disappointed the master guy didn't win i noticed that the cards were totally stacked against them but like as a fan i i just wanted it to be mastered all one and because you just i didn't obviously want the hallway to win as well so you get the stars back holding the belts but um it was very disappointing as well because not no one even in the build to avoid no one was really watching use my interviews normally give a [ __ ] what else and says no offense to them because they confront you i think in the post for the interview on espn or wherever it was uh camaro usman's post fight had 300 thousand views on youtube and foreign yeah i remember ben asking slate news and saying he's retired and he had five hundred thousand on espn five thousand views and usman had like 170 000. well like i mean i don't even think people are bored of us talking about using right now as well there's nothing about yeah so there's not about that you're like i really like like i mean obviously he's what he's doing his career is brilliant i kind of think i appreciate watching someone striving to work hard it's just remember he was like i only fought 70 i don't thought 20 in this fight yeah it's not the other i think i think for us doing these shows and then having to stay up till like 5 6 a.m in the morning for a foot stomp session it just it's you're like it really first of all you know what he he might actually end up putting himself lower on the card you know yeah i think that's that's it i wasn't like if sean o'malley became bantamweight champion he could go up at him he'd be blow could be on a car despite his weight class yeah actually he's actually less impressive than tyron woodley he's somehow eclipsed totally yeah for not wanting to see him and i feel her saying that but like and i'm johanna is gonna have left dinner because she was in that silk sheet category and now she's sort of forgotten about and i'd say that's really hard to deal with going through something a win over andras gets her like roy back in the mix yeah but i just don't see her holding the gold again unless some of the girls actually just retire and she's been through a lot of battles like whereas like wavy is fresh let's see what happens and then then we move into the first of our toilet points pyotter yam i think it's sort of written in the stars that he fights algemaine sterling next uh how can dana white won't confirm that by the way that people are going on and on and on about this is there a chance henry c little come out i don't think it's henry's a hero at all i think ufc are sneakily thinking of making cody garbrandt versus pyotr jan those two are going back and forth a lot and if ufc is looking to sell a few pay-per-views i think if you put cody garbrandt in the pay-per-view long life uh ahead of alderman sterling it probably sells a lot more oh look on merit alderman sterling could not be any more than the one contender apparently they're looking at doing garbrandt versus marlon marius though in august i wouldn't be surprised if they did yan versus alderman's sterling somewhere around the same time maybe september i think if you really want to give jan the rub of the green you wait for khabib to come back and you put them on the same card as it could be oh the two wrote something 600 yeah so the same card by the way that was so good the way it was such like like a muay thai stand-up fight as well yeah they were sort of like oh it was just uh oh so good like as for jose aldo uh my personal preference on aldo will be if he fought donna cruz next two absolute legends of the game and if he's gonna sit down at bantamweight that's would like to see uh the only thing is he's too lost his name will plant and wait so like he has a very long road to the toil as opposed to you know i mean i almost think you're better off mixing it back up a featherweight i think you you know we'll get to the featherweight total picture now in a minute but i actually think there's a higher chance of someone else coming in uh a featherweight when the belt that's not named holloway or volkanowski then there is of oh they'll get another bantamweight shot so you'd almost like to see aldo versus volcanosky no i'm not no i don't want to see aloe versa but i think he might have a faster row back to the featherweight belt than you would to the bantamweight belt well it seems like aldo's biggest problem is going into the later rounds oh no definitely his cardio seems to dwindle in the later rounds and then he's more susceptible for a knockout yeah but do you think that's because of wear and tear over time or do you think that's because he was down at bantamweight i think it's a bit of both because the same thing would sort of happen to him at a featherweight but look we'll sort of get into the featherweight uh discussion board like he wasn't getting like ko'd and featherweight but like come from four and five you can say there was a takeover although max holloway was able to get him out of there in the late round as well so this is interesting to see um well maybe we'll discuss the featherweight uh title for you uh where they go next uh i see volkanovsky fight the korean zombie uh they're having a bit of beef back on online now yeah i think it's called foil i think uh korean zombie's probably overdue a toil shot at this stage uh he's been around for years he's obviously he went mia because he had to go serve him the korean army and i'd like to see max holloway fights the i think if max can beats a beat he deserves to get back in there if the b can beat max he deserves to be in there i think that's that's they're the two fights to make and again that's what i was saying with jose aldo if korean zombie wins the toil jose aldo's beating queens on before or if the beat wins the toil but then although could get you have a faster chance of getting in there against the beat so it's like almost a quicker road for aldo back to the featherweight belt then it will be the bottom wait those volkanovsky first korean zombie cell first of all and second of all what's max all they do from here well like i said i quite like uh holloway versus a beat and i think if he beats his we you get a trilogy fight against falknowski does volkanovsky versus the korean zombie cell not really but does volkonovsky really sell against anyone not named max holloway let's be honest about it you know what i mean um well i don't know just add another thing israelis and sanji is going to be taking up hell of costa where and when we don't know because dana said they could be staying there for way longer than expected as we brought up last time like you see 250 yeah being forward on as well but if it do i think new zealand's after opening and they're they're allowing um fans go to games so let's see what happens there but if they brought ufc to new zealand and i would be short enough notice but if there's a will there's a way i shouldn't fight all of them with short enough notice but uh you could have porshina against alexania and then volkanowski as the and then you're just building up these guys to later on going headline themselves you know oh absolutely although i do feel there's something about volkanovsky that's like not less likable it's not that he's not likable but i think when you when you beat max holloway like that's you know people are automatically gonna almost dislike it especially in the fashion that he did it in and then on top of that like he's not overly entertaining to listen to if that makes sense he's almost a slightly boring character like you as ian was saying in the last show he wants to write children's books you know i mean he's not a exactly the enigma of charisma i know i can agree i can agree but uh he he seems a cool crack though you know i don't think true but like who knows maybe they'll do a triple header and it would be khabib versus justin gaichi obiyan versus alderman sterling and then it would be volkanovsky versus a beast and they're trying to get three russians on the one card volkov like what a quote uh if you're enjoying the shows by the way hit a was supposed to come over to fight edwards in the uk didn't happen would be hiding the point guild burns and then leon edwards was supposed to get the toilet shot against usman and then couldn't take it and then next thing you know give her birth to get in the toilet shot so oozma's next component is dull and dusted it's one of those two all you would prefer to see leon edwards gets total shot eight wins is much better than four wins that's the two streaks that you have and so leon edwards who would rather see next ufc make sure the port leon edwards is on the longest lasting win streak yeah longest win streaks yeah and like leon edwards is on that no obviously he's on that because he's one of the highest so therefore but they made sure to show that to make sure to show that you know i mean yeah i agree now after the dust sort of settled you're like right leon edwards first has used one is what i want and then on the other side of things jorge marvel uh i would like to see jorge alfoy kobe covington i want to see that piece bob board it looks like they're leaning towards clementine versus woodley that looks like it's always going to take place in august and probably the same card as garbrandt and maurice sounds like a good card well i would love to see covington versus uh mazda i'd love to see like press conferences i don't see the trash talk i love see the face off oh it will be very hard to see that for you yeah unfortunately we're not gonna have any of that stuff ready yeah but i think even the videos and the beef you know the beef will be there one way or the other whether it's tweets or whatever i mean i felt like i would be entertained i agree but like obviously obviously the cards after going it went over a million pay-per-views um yeah incredible no yeah it's unreal but i don't i don't think mastodon is ever going to become champ no neither do i so therefore i think they should take it in a different direction he's as hard as as he's ever been only thing that i think deployed to make is conor versus martial but again massive fight massive pay-per-view numbers but one thing with conor that i never look like is what if obviously khabib's dad has passed away what if khabib is out for a prolonged period of time and justin gates is back on the table for connor and the title fights back on the table for connor which is probably a possibility i i obviously like there's many possibilities but i don't i think khabib will fight would rather fight then relinquish the belt to let conor go in a winner and then be like good job i'm not saying he relinquishes wrinkles i'm saying gage has to defend his interim title i know that's obviously a possibility i just see conor's after being cowboy 170. so that therefore we had the potential of having mastered that matter that's stepping in and showing notice or if you know he was like it was win-win he was either a becoming the champ or b getting a conor mcgregor fight that's why he took the fight and looking at it now like a rematch against those ones do you want to see that would things really change no like oh no i don't i don't i don't think so but i'm saying jorge mazwell has made himself like yeah as possible i think also the fact that jorge massa is training him like probably he knows one or two things that he might be weaker same equivalent though he knows what jorge might be weak with well i feel like that would be a a closer fight or there'd be more opportunities for masada to try and get something to get it you gotta win then there will be against us it was like so safe it's
