Champion versus Champion it is rescalator McKee versus Judo Jimmy waldhead last this is a big one are you excited you see how we're excited we're excited for sure that was very enjoyed Lads yeah Jimmy we'll start with you at the away fighter how are you feeling about coming over to Dublin and upsetting a few people uh I'm just excited to come over I've always wanted to fight in Dublin fighting Island and um yeah we're off The Bucket List uh looking forward to the challenge uh looking forward to the crowd waiting for the booze and uh just another day in the office in it and um you know is a is a game day fighter I know he'll be there and you and he'll be it's gonna be a tough test and uh and again as always relishing the challenge and uh can't wait and then I can stop doing this [ __ ] get fat and just coach so I can't wait can't wait is that a hint to me that this is the last one out for you I think so dude I think so and uh Rhys what does that mean to you is that is that a bit of an honor to be a judo Jimmy wildhead's last fight yeah of course um yeah I've watched a lot of generous fights you know I've watched a lot of his career um so if I'm the last dance partner he's going to have then you know there's going to be a year as an honor of course um but we're gonna have a hell of a fight first I know that and you know Jimmy's his game as anyone you know um so I'm sure we are in for a fun 25 minutes you're gonna let him win I played my I play my Nissan board games and I can't even let her win even when her mom's looking at me so we can't let anybody win we know we know the game but it's um you know it's all respect then we'll throw down for 25 and and then do everything you know yeah yeah absolutely yeah resam the three Arena a lot of people dream about fighting here this is almost like a second home for you it's probably the arena you fought more times in in your entire pro career and what's it mean for you to headline on this occasion yeah especially you know what's I mean about who Debbie in this Arena um I think this is maybe fight number seven or six in this Arena so you know I love a lot of love for the Dublin crowd and you know I've competed there a long time so um to be back and defend the word title and you know it's it's a nice story you know it's like it's all kind of come up to this this point of the mountain so yeah like it's nice like Dublin's nice and you know Belfast was closer to home but this is probably as much as a homecoming as Belfast was In fairness yeah absolutely yeah and obviously Jimmy alluded to that this was his last one but uh would you would you like this to be your last one in cage warriors uh going forward is that gonna be my last fight ever I'm like no no no no no no last [ __ ] cage if we can retire together and leave her gloves anymore um uh yeah this will be my last vote for cage worse for sure yeah it's uh it's it's definitely it's definitely a stock card um tell us this reason what do you think it means to get the cage Warriors Banner back to Dublin it's been a very very long time since we've had a Dublin show I think you're probably talking to Helix maybe last one of her back there yeah it's as big as big for the Connery it's big for the scene you know um to be honest we're probably in a position now where we're we're really ready for it you know maybe a few years ago and maybe we didn't have as many names and to fill a card but look at that like that card is crazy and you know it's almost one of them fight damn fight card you wish you weren't on so you could watch all the fights but um yeah it's a special card and you know start from one of the top so it means a lot for for Ireland and and the north of Ireland and it all come comes along the free Arena oh absolutely am and then Jimmy I I do want to touch on on your career as a whole as well and obviously you've fought nearly everyone organization Under the Sun uh but where does the fight against Reese Frank come on uh your entire career yeah it's a massive fight isn't it you know I mean unification about and uh yeah going to hostile territory to to have a war with a you know a very tough tough man so it's up there it's one of the biggest fights in my career um but again like the last two the last two I thought were going to be the last one then obviously this opportunity came up so we'll go again in it but there's no pressure on me you know yeah I'm disappointed he's trying to be a [ __ ] before I've seen his little videos and that but it's still part of the game I guess but um if he genuinely believes what he's saying did you think that was a nasty I said I said only when they fight talk you know it's what I believe you know yeah fair play fair play but I don't think you believe um oh God and I've not evolved and I've never been gone Kobe happened I got injured in a bit of kovid I've been constantly evolving I'm still grafting for you like I want to be the UFC champion so I'm coming in Reddit it might be my last one but I ain't leaving like a [ __ ] you know I mean I'm coming I'm leaving now I've done my own career uh but there's no pressure on me like zero like no one gives a [ __ ] about me so you know I mean I'm doing I ain't going back to UFC they give a [ __ ] you know wow I'm gonna go to USC um I'm not looking to carry on fighting on cage Warriors I was just happy it's a massive fight I respect Rhys a great last dance partner tough as [ __ ] gonna bring out the best in me I'm preparing with him it's my list and um yeah everyone's one of the most important fights in my career um and I'm looking forward to it and uh yeah it makes me work hard I uh you know I knew I knew what you're bringing a lot I know what you're bringing so um 100 like you know it's yeah and you know I'm definitely not overlooking in any in any way if you know yeah it's really what's going on here it's um you know it's a lot of work Jimmy wall head wakes me up in the morning you know dream about me you know some someone comes home running so um no listen it's this is the challenge I need it I thought you know some experience guys career and you know this is the real chance to see if I can overcome that experience card and and you are the man to bring like the challenge in me so it's one I will for sure to catch the lads of cage Wars 153 Dublin April 29th live in uc4 pass for us also if you want to get tickets make sure to get on the race and make sure to get onto Jimmy for us this is gonna be a cracking card yeah it definitely definitely definitely will be it will be an insane card and reason obviously you saw um Jimmy Floyd feedback for the interim title why did you make that fight I'm watching Mega Jimmy's performance there it was a serious knockout in the end yeah 100 you know I've watched both Germany's uh fights and his return to cage Warriors and stuff and um you know if I'm being really truthful I was I was hopeful he would be big like because you know I knew that would be a much more interesting match for me um so we've done that as a fantastic uh performance any any fight fan in the world is going to be impressive what he's done do you know what I mean so and like I said in any of my other interviews like I need the big fights I only want the people that you know people want to tune in like people will tune in to watch this every year because it's a big fight if it was figure out and stuff it didn't make as much sense so um and yeah I'm I'm happy for Jim and it was a good performance and yeah it was not much more I can say than that I I suppose Jimmy being into the UFC before as well as another box that that stick for you at least along the way yeah of course of course and you know just the just the vast experience he has and you know the team he's from is like so well thought of like you know he's he's the full package you know so in terms of an opponent it's really everything I want with my share dog so um yeah that's why this fight is is so exciting and then Jimmy obviously you were saying you watched some of our reasons their videos in the build they'll put uh maybe something robbed up the wrong way was there one thing in particular that that he said that uh maybe got you up that little bit earlier it's trying a bit harder and then and then went to legit now joking um no just the uh he thinks I'm the old God that little comment annoyed me a little bit but it ain't gonna make me bite it ain't gonna make me come and try and take his head off and walk onto shots so he's gonna make me more focused and more disciplined and uh on my toes move in and even more focused to play the game properly so uh yeah but that was it but it's not fun at games yeah I like this man me and Reese have had a couple of like DMS with each other you know I was disappointing you Reese I feel like a dad in it I'm disappointed in you I thought more of you you know so but uh Matt we've got to sell this fight and um you know we could talk [ __ ] or we can talk respect it's gonna be a [ __ ] entertaining fight you know and that's what people care about ultimate so I'd rather not talk too much [ __ ] uh rather say some facts I'm coming in the best me re-schooling in the best him and uh 110 is gonna be fireworks and um yeah man I see pressures on Rhys [Music] yet I've never felt the pressure yet it's um good good I thought on Belfast it's literally 20 minutes from my house and the pressure I love it like you know the bigger the arena oh you're a game day fighter with like 100 100 you touched these these kids they're the same as me like you know yeah I mean like sometimes when I'm training I'm like I just want to get to the fight so 100 the pressure like I really I'm not saying I don't understand the word but like it's just not for me yeah yeah and Jimmy on top of that what did you make or at least last for in Belfast it was a fight of the Year Contender like yeah that that verse Burlington was it was the worst part of the Year weren't it yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah what a fantastic fight I mean Fair place to Reese man [ __ ] tough old boy your race man that was some impressive [ __ ] you know um it was great fight how could anyone not be interesting by that you know um a bit of adversity came through it and then finished on top and Justin's you know a very tough that's off your man you know hungry folks your money yourself so you know it was a massive achievement for a reason um I was very impressed it was very good very good performance and then reset Jimmy touched on some DMS there what what are the DMS between a Reese McGee and Jimmy wildhead look like keep sending me dick pics there's not much to see um at the time at the time when I was injured maybe Jenny made every video and I just kind of said that like one time one time healed up you know we'll get it we'll get it done uh because I always knew we would like you know never turn a fight down in my career and I just wanted I just wanted to know that we could do it and uh then it was like was she a nice Christmas and a peaceful Christmas and Nanos have a safe Camp so you know yeah that was it it's nothing too exciting it wasn't tender or anything like that it was just straight messages no no kiss UPS no love heart emojis [ __ ] all just yeah it was nice respectful but no love does you think this is the biggest fight that's going to happen on cage Warriors this year I can't think of any always on there uh for a couple more out there I can't think off the top of the head I think it's a proportional promotional thing you know I think you know after this you know they'll get this fight out of the way and then they'll look for the next biggest one and they'll dub that I guess so I mean as far as me and Jimmy's concerned this is the biggest fight of the year for sure yeah I think I think when you're looking at the biggest fights you tend to look at the Champions and it's probably rare to get a champion versus Champion point and cage Warriors for a start which which is huge and on top of that like Uruguay's names carry a lot of weight like you look at some of the other Champions and you're like they don't quite have the dance partner that you guys have so like to me I think it's the biggest for the year I think I returned to Dublin is huge like three arena is a much bigger venue than cage Warriors normally do like everything sort of adds up if you look at the owner card as well like it all gears up to this fight like I think in terms of people getting tickets for this fight I think the price of the ticket is worth its weight in golf this Main Event alone like if this was the only point in the car to be worth it sorry for interesting yeah we're meant to be doing giveaways four tickets as well uh Ross yeah um yeah like this boy is stacked from top to bottom but this Main Event has something special special about it so I can't wait to see that we were uh talking to Grand Boy Over uh the London event said he gives some tickets to give away so uh we just need to follow up with him on that and uh we'll definitely come up with some sort of competition but uh yeah but he said that as well by the way yeah he did he did all the Skeletor and Judo Jimmy fans can definitely egg get on to us once we have the competition open Live and come see it but uh this one would definitely not be missed if you are a fully fan in Ireland or if you're a consider ever want to feel that a Dublin crowd feel and you're coming over from the UK this is the one to come do it for yeah Jimmy I think it's going to be at UC London as well but hey what I think I think the cage where his Dublin crowd is going to beat the UFC London crowd yeah I can't wait for it I can't wait for it all right so I didn't see it so it was death uh resources you bring much of a crowd down from Belfast yeah just like you know yourself there's gonna be a few hundred people coming down so yeah you know over 200 tickets gone from from local area like so I'll be a big it'll be a big a big arena and I'll be packed full of fans you know but one thing about Dublin crowd and you know and Jimmy will experience this too I'm sure he's seen plenty of crows like they're fighting fans first you know so I'd be very surprised if Jim and get booed you know it might trigger a bit less but you know the fight sounds first and that's a hell of an arena and Hell of people around it so um they're just fight fans more than anything more than race fans or fight fans Jimmy will we have a a big uh Hardy wall head continue coming over knowing that it's it's the Last Dance I think six are coming now a few I don't know about 34 estimate nothing crazy nothing crazy oh you're not gonna use my ticket link as usual they've all done off their own back so I know I think about 30 or 40 come in 34. so it'd be nice it'll be loud I'll hear them so I might as well you know fight fans as long as a crowd enjoy enjoy every bit of it that's all I care about yeah I mean that's what it's about entertainment man absolutely absolutely and look obviously Reese your last fight was a war how do you expect this fight to play out will it be as something similar or um are you looking to take less damage to this fight which is probably the obvious answer is yes it has the maintenance to do that type of fight you know is this Justin and one of his interview for that last fight he just seems to keep getting in these fights so you know I'm definitely not willing out that it's going to be one of them ones but um you know I think my book I'm coming in for a nice clean performance here and you know to show like a real calculated version of myself so and I had that that was meant to happen against Justin too and the fight just happened so you know I can go both ways and I really don't mind but you know as long as I leave with my hand in there and that will that's all I'm after regardless of how that goes down yeah uh if you win with the year we get the the two belts in the one picture the two belts on the one what do you mean developing your own belts you'll have one over each other there's only one adult here and you know regardless I think we both would only have one belt you know at the GB what about yourself how do you see the see the foil play now are you coming in there looking for The Knockout or what why did you see it going um MMA foreign boys on the ground so that went well um so the last knockout was viciously that was that was crazy we'll see I'm happy for the fights to go anywhere um I'm constantly you know involving in each area adding tools even at my age I'm always trying to evolve I'm not ever happy with where I'm at so you know I've learned some new bits and Bobs and um hopefully get to Showcase some skills I've been working hard on and yeah again comes back to Reese being you know a fantastic adversary on on the night and um I think we'll bring the best out of each other I honestly don't know how to fight you can't he's all still still talking here we get in there [ __ ] it all goes again everywhere then it you know so see how we passed off each other you know I mean we could both be doing whatever we're doing for our training parties but we're getting there we bounce off each other it's a totally different look in it so we can leave us can really predict it it's just [ __ ] if you try and see if this is going to happen it's gonna it is [ __ ] it never goes as fast it's gonna be a [ __ ] it's gonna happen isn't it it's hard not to be a farmer I think we bring out the best in each other nothing but respect for your ladies it's gonna be great Andres what do you think of uh the old dog getting some new tricks oh for sure like lesson that's you know as a Jimmy news and like we're saying again this is the nicest interview ever want to do but like you know regardless of what's said it's all it's all talk you know and I know Jimmy's improving every day and you know he coaches a lot too so that makes someone's game get even better his understanding of everything is so well developed so like isn't he listen I know he has has new tools being harder every day and every every session so yeah I do not take that on the slightest that's the event has to say to each other before we wrap things up because uh I'm actually really enjoying the sport um the doors go down on April 29th in Dublin's tree Arena like I think everyone that's watching this now is just absolutely posing for it and also say to each other a lot just listen just have have a nice few final whips of camp and you know you're coming to Dublin in a few weeks yeah I've seen two weeks for a bit of media right we've got a few hours of media yeah hey what's that we'll dislike each other for an hour for photos give me a cuddle around the back in it when everyone's gone yeah don't be don't forget the energize glasses for those photos don't forget the bank transfer yeah yeah no worries no worries it's on the way
