The Energized Show episode centers on James Gallagher ahead of ACA 194 in Dubai on Thursday, October 23, 2025. Gallagher explains he is based in Manchester and training at Subzone under Cam, with additional drilling at 12 Gauge in Stockport, after Max Barnett invited him down. He says ACA reached out randomly while Quintet grappling and a 971 fight were still unsettled, and he negotiated with both to take the Dubai booking. He reflects on his June 14, 2025 win at 971 by second-round armbar against a strong BJJ black belt, says he has momentum again after a long layoff, and previews a lightweight bout against veteran Ali Alquasi while insisting he remains a featherweight long term. He expects to finish Alquasi, likely in round two, and says a four-fight ACA deal looks likely plus a possible December show in Russia. His corner will be his father, Chris Mo, and Max Barnett. The hosts also recap Brian Manning’s win at EFC 5 in Cork, preview EFC 6 on December 6, discuss Shane Carmody’s banana split at that card, and heavily hype the sold-out Cage Conflict 16 - Munera show at the Devinish with Damian McGwigan’s pro debut and multiple title fights.

Diana. >> Okay, here we go. >> It's time. >> Okay, what's going on, guys? And welcome to a brand new episode of Energized, brought to you by Orc Kings Competitions. Ross, >> are you intoxicated or something? Introduce the guest man. Today we have Irish living legend. It is the one and only. It's the Shrabanimal. It's Mr. James Gallagher, Mr. Main Event. James, how are you doing, my friend? >> I'm good, boys. I'm good. Thank you very much for having me on as always. I appreciate the support. >> Always. Welcome back. You your your globe trotting continues. You're uh now located in Manchester. You're now fighting out a sub zone. Uh tell us how how did that come about? >> Uh so it came how Subzone came around is through a good friend of mine, Max Barnett. He trains there and I've been bouncing around in a few other gyms as well. I've been training at 12 gauge here in Stockport. It's a local kind of gym. So I've been getting some drilling in there. And then Max was like come down to Subzone. And I knew all the guys down there. Well, a few a few of them. So I didn't have heard like unbelievable things about Cam the head coach. So I went down, mate, and we hit it off like a [ __ ] house and fire. And I have never been able to find a gym where someone that can coach and put the sequences into perspective the way that he can. And it's unbelievable how he can change striking into wrestling into jiu-jitsu. It's uh he's kind of got his own little art going on. So it is. So I'm I'm looking forward to showing it off next week. >> Yeah, absolutely. I actually remember meeting Cam myself in a gym in Belfast. It was for Cage Warriors Belfast. I think uh James Power was fighting Adam Shel at the time and uh that there was a few sessions on and I went up to one the ones there. I suppose the fighters probably getting warmed up on the day over the day before and uh he was going over such intricate details and it was just very impressive. Uh, also h he was showing the techniques on me and I he like took a grip me and I was like I've never been gripped like that in my entire life. >> Unbelievable, isn't it? See the chest on me. It feels like your chest going to explode. >> Yeah. I've never been gripped by someone so powerfully in my life. >> Yeah. >> Do you think Cam remembers your ass? >> Uh, yeah. I actually think he does. Well, I've seen him at a few events since. So nice guy. Like he probably knows my face, but you you might go that's that Egypt wears the glasses sometimes. But but uh no to say that, bro. I was like, you know how Egypt the glasses are. >> That's me and Barry. When we go around uh when we go around at the events, if we don't have the glass on, it's it's like we're uh it's like Clark Kent and Superman in reverse. You >> need to take the glasses off. These are in disguise. >> Yeah. Incognito there. You know, man, incognito >> once a glasser on, you know what I mean? What's called one person shouts profanities at us, but that's about it. >> But, uh, obviously you're fighting back out in Dubai, so obviously familiar territory for yourself. You're fighting on ACA. Uh, tell us obviously how did that one come about then? >> Man, it just came around randomly one day. They just reached out and asked, so they did. It was insane. And I had a load of stuff. I was supposed to compete I was supposed to compete in quintent grappling and then fight on 971 two weeks after that >> and things were just all up in the air a little bit and then ACA came in and then I spoke to Contempt. I spoke to 971 and we got the deal done and made it happen. >> Yeah. So James, you're back in action at ACA 194 on Thursday, October 23rd in Dubai. people tune in now. Make sure to get on to James' Instagram to get the link to watch the event. Yeah. James, like last time we were speaking to you was in the buildup to your victory uh 971 on June 14th. You won by round two armbar. H what was your reaction like at that at the event cuz like it was a pretty big event. >> Ah mate that was one of the best events I've ever competed of competed in. Manur from 971. He m it was unbelievable. So, it is by far one of the best events I've ever competed on. It was an honor to compete there for them. And how the show was run, how they treated you, how smooth it was from the medicals, from the everything that went on, there wasn't one fault in the show. And then it was kind of left in that everything's taken care of. So, just go out and put on the performance. Do you know what I mean? And I went out there and and did it. Do you know what I mean? I was very very happy with the performance and uh kind of got the get got two rounds in the bank. kind of got good experience in there, got me feet back on the ground because it was it was a long time since I'd fought before that and man, it felt good. But now I've been on a a roll, do you know what I mean? And it's been years since I've had momentum, good training, good help around me. And uh I feel like I'm on a roll. >> Yeah, absolutely. And I must say it actually was a really good show cuz normally when myself and Barry would like sort of, you know, you were the only Irish person I think competing on the card and you know, you never want to miss the fight that we're going to watch. So we're like, "All right, you have to watch James fight." So you might watch one or two beforehand because you're like, "You want to be in there early to see it?" I was looking going, "Geez, that's a very big venue." Like, and like it was it was quite full at the time. And and I was also like even the way the announcers, the ring walks, everything looked really really good. Like so if if they're putting on more shows, it's definitely a show for fighters to look to get on. >> It's a it's a fighter show. I can tell you that. That's what it is. It's a a fighter first show when when you're when when when you're treated like that as a fighter, you want to go out there and do them proud. Do you know what I mean? Make them worth bringing you here. Do you know what I mean? So So that's that's what I went out and did and put on that performance. And I remember I got your man's arm, bro, and the thing just snapped. It was that was beautiful to be honest. And I was like, "Yeah, that's how that's how jiu-jitsu works." >> Yeah. And again as well also get that against uh Brazilian jiujitsu black belt is a is a nice little feather in the cap for you on the on the occasion. >> 100%. So he was very very good. So he was I couldn't make I remember at the start when I took him down just his movement and stuff and I haven't felt like I haven't been in against somebody that's as good as jiujitsu as him I don't think in in MMA just as like I couldn't get my traps going. I had to get very methodical with it. And that's why it took me the I couldn't rush nothing because he was very good at stopping a lot of things. So that's why I had to take my time, wear him out, and then go for it. >> Yeah, absolutely. And and again, you're coming up against another tough opponent in um let let me try and say it correctly. Uh Ali Alquasi, was that how you'd say it? >> Yeah. Yeah. Uh obviously he's fought in the UFC, he's fought in UA words, he's fought in Brave, so he's been around the block. He is a veteran bit like yourself. What do you know about him and what way do you see the match up going? >> He's a he's an old school veteran. Do you know what I mean? And and the thing is about it is like I have fought many I' I've been fighting people like him since I've been 13 years old. So I have he's never fought someone like me and that's the difference. So, it is. And uh I feel like he's going to he's going to bring me problems that I'm going to solve very quick because it's a he's just a standard fighter. Kind of comes in, throws a shot, splits his head off to the side, tries to pressure you forward a little bit. If you pressure him, he'll clinch. He's kind of like an old school style. Do you know what I mean? And uh and as soon as this hits the ground, mate, there's there's no he has he's got no problems for me at all. So, he doesn't I feel like it's going to be a very one-sided fight. They don't feel like it's just going to be a steamroll right through him, but once I get his reads, once I calculate him, once I find the distance, I feel like it's going to be a smooth ceiling. So, it is I can see another second round finish. >> Yeah, we cannot wait to see it. Uh James, like obviously last time we had you on, you said you were going to be competing under the 971 banner for the next while, and now obviously you're fighting on with ACA. Like going just looking into the future in 2026, like what organization will you be competing on most? Uh so after this one I'm going to sit down with 971 and the boys and uh and see what's what. I've got an opportunity to go have a fouright contract with ACA and I can see that happening and if everything goes well and and stuff. So but my main focus is this fight is to go in there and blow the roof off these the show and let them know what I'm about and then we can sit down and talk and uh we'll see what's what. But it's very looking likely that I'm going to do a four fight contract for ACA. >> Options are always good, Ross, aren't they? >> Yeah, >> options. >> We we do love we do love the options and again like I suppose there is though is that that uh conversation you have that you can do sort of one or two fight deals as well if if if you don't want to tie yourself in because at the end of the day I feel like from speaking to you the activity is what's really exciting you at the moment and the ability to get out there. >> Yeah, 100%. But ACF have offered me another one for December. So, but one one fight at a time, boys. One fight at a times. You know, you know yourself. I fight [ __ ] 20 fights a day. So, we we'll get through this one and then uh we'll see what's what. You know what I mean? But I can tell you what, I'm very very excited for the future and especially now I've got a momentum of training. I've got a good base. I've got just help. Do you know what I mean? I'm not really coaching myself no more. And uh it's [ __ ] brilliant. It's brilliant. I feel just more more like weight off my shoulders. Now all I got to do is go and fight. Do you know what I mean? Is where I used to organize everything. [ __ ] make sure everything's right. Make sure training days, high days, low days, grappling days, striking days, and now I just rock in and go, "All right, what are we doing today?" >> Yeah. I think I think we've sort of seen that. So maybe tell us a bit about that because uh obviously you know Kefir spoke about that recently enough himself that he was sort of coaching himself and coming up with all his own sort of strategies and training schedules and stuff like that. How how much easier is it to know that you know training is at a certain time and you're going to be told what to do and a lot of the game plan and strategy is going to be you're going to be helped with that as opposed to trying to come up with it all by yourself. >> Yeah, man. as [ __ ] And it's like it just be able allows you to switch off and relax because you know you've got it all covered. Do you know what I mean? Is where when you're doing it all yourself, it's kind of like know when you come home and you're making your dinner or whatever, you're kind of still like going, "Wonder if I did that, he could catch me with this or he could do that." Is where when you're at the gym speaking about it to your coach and he's telling you, "No, no, if you move that way, you're going to do it like that." It's a done deal. Do you know what I mean? And it and it works, you know? So, you've got the reassurance in your own self then, do you know what I mean? And the best thing is I notic with working with some of the cameras that we we think very alike. Do you know what I mean? So it's very simple game plans and then we just take bits in or add bits in or take them away. >> Just keep bouncing off each other then. You know what I mean? So it's a big uh it's a big stress off the shoulders. That's for sure. >> And I suppose one thing else it's also much easier to keep yourself honest. You know what I And if you're not doing something well or something is not working well for you, at least you have someone there to tell you that's not going great or that won't work as opposed to when it's yourself sometimes you can be like I think that's all right or I think that might be okay. >> For me it's the opposite, bro. >> Yeah. >> But it is for me it's the opposite. I'm very critical in every single thing that I do. But since I'm just doing it myself, I have no reassurance if it's good or not. >> You know what I mean? So then you just start I'm like I need to do that better. I need to do that better. is where now when somebody's like that and I'm doing stuff like I'm in a 50/50 position he's like no that works that's very well then it's becomes 100% do you know what I mean so it's just filling in all them little gaps >> that I'm not quite sure of or like that I'm going this might work as he's like that works [ __ ] go do you know what I mean so it's more it's more so for that rather than what not to be doing it's the go for it >> of of course and then also like I suppose doing the actual training and work itself when you're being told what to do as opposed to you're telling everyone else what to do and then trying to get involved. It's it's not quite the same. And sometimes it could be less intensity because someone could be stopping you halfway through to be like, "Can you show that again?" >> You know, >> that's for sure. But there's no lack of intensity in subzone. That's for sure. It's hard hard rounds everyone. And there's a killer as well. a lot of lot of young prospects that are like kind of just shy of under the radar but are about to bust through in the scene. Do you know what I mean? They have the skill sets, they have the experience but they just haven't got the name yet and they're about to show it. Do you know what I mean? >> Yeah. Actually, I saw Kran has done a few rounds up there. Have you bumped into him yet? Or he probably hasn't been back since his last fight, I'd say. >> Yeah, he fought somebody from Subzone his last fight, didn't he? He got beat. >> Uh yeah, he fought >> Jack. Jack, right? Yeah. Yeah. >> Well, that's probably why he wasn't up in the doing the rounds. >> But, uh, no, just be it's always cool when the Irish cross paths, you know what I mean? >> Yeah. >> And and this one James is up at lightweight as well. So, tell us about that that because obviously you know getting bigger as we go on in the fight game. Featherweight lightweight. >> I'm still I'm still a featherweight. I'm I'm going to fight featherweight if I'm going forward. uh this opportunity to rise and do you know what I mean? I'm not I'm not I'm not I'm a big featherweight, you know what I mean? So, I've been walking around 80 odd kilos. So, it's still still a pretty big cut down to 70, but uh it's a lot easier a lot easier in the body now. I can just focus on skills, you know what I mean? Rather than is where now I'd be like heavy in a weight cut is where I'm just after doing a couple hours grappling there. >> Yeah. >> So, if you if you were going to try and make a well if you were going to make a run for the title with ACA, like what division would you be going for? >> Fatherweight. feather weight. >> Yeah. Yeah, I'll stick to feather weight. So, I can still make it comfortably. Do you know what I mean? So, it's hard but comfortable. So, I'd rather do as long as I can at it and then move up once it starts getting too too bit. I'm just a bit short for lightweight. >> I got you. And uh James, who who be in your corner come ACA 194 on October 23rd? >> Me dad as always is going is going to be there. So, me and him go out to Dubai on Sunday. And then good friend of mine's Chris Mo. He's going to be in me corner as well along with Max Barnett who uh trains here with me at Subzone. >> Yeah, shout out to dad by the way as well. How's he getting on? >> Yeah, he's getting on the best. So, he's looking forward. Last time he went to Dubai, it was for his birthday, but it's mine this time. So, uh we're going to going to go out and put this guy's head on a platter and go enjoy ourselves in Dubai. >> What he's going to get up to there? >> I don't know. We'll see. We'll do Dubai things anyway. That's for sure, bro. We'll leave it at that. Good. I love it. I love it. >> It's going to be It's going to be good. I've got got a good squad coming out with me. So, I do get all the boys from back home are coming out and that. So, uh it's it's going to be a good time, bro. >> Yeah. And James, this this obviously like a Russian organization and like they're like going to the boy for this event like will the event in December that you were talking about would that be like whereabouts will that be located? >> Russia. >> That'll be in Russia. Yeah. >> Yeah. So, it is. But December's quick turnaround. So, things are just all up in the air in a minute for the Do you know what I mean? Everything obviously focuses on this event. So >> yeah, >> I'm not >> one strangle at a time. >> Yeah, exactly. Exactly, bro. One strangle at a time. So uh we'll we'll go get this strangle done and then uh we'll move on to the next one. And if December works out, then if not, we'll go again early next year. Do you know what I mean? >> Yeah. >> Well, Elquasi hasn't been submitted since his second pro fight. So you'll have to remind him what that's like. >> There's no better man, bro. No better man. If there's a if there's a man they submit you, it's going to be me. >> Yeah. And it was rear ne choke as well. So like he he'll remember that one >> 100%. Well, he's gonna get rear neck choked or guillotine. It's one of the others. >> So it is or if he wants to if he wants to get his face rearranged. He can sit there. >> Yeah. >> So it's up to him. Do you know what I mean? It's not really it's not really my use whether he gets choked or he gets his nose bit across his face. It's it's entirely up to him. >> He can pick his own fate. As I say, >> he can pick his own poison. >> We love it. We love him. >> Yeah. Uh that's why for the people tuning in, you have to make sure to see James Gallagher back in action at ACA 194 on October 24th. It is going to be on a Thursday in Dubai. Uh James, is there anything you want to say to the Strabanal Army that are going to be tuning in on October 23rd? >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I just want to say thanks very much to everyone for all the continued support and now especially on this like I feel like it's a rebirth of me. Do you know what I mean? It's kind of I've done all the big shows. I've done all the all the big hype, all the big media, all that bollocks, you know what I mean? and and now I'm just here focused, locked in and ready to show them what I'm about. You know what I mean? So, I want to thank everybody for all the support. And then uh also want to give a shout out to City Competitions in Derry for uh the the partnership that we have just done and also all the boys here at Subzone as well for all the top quality rounds in CAM. So, it is for helping me along and I'm going to go out here and put on a show of a lifetime. So, I'm feel like it's going to be this is going to be a one where I know my last one everyone is like, "Wow, he looked different than that one." But noise, the momentum is on top of that. Do you know what I mean? So, I'm going to be free in there. Be free in there to land my shots and h get my grappling sequences off and it's going to be a special one. >> Perfect. Well, James, thanks very much for your time. Best of skill on October 23rd and we let you get on with the rest of your day, bud. >> I appreciate it, boys. All right. Thank you very much. And uh it's going to be a great show and thank you very much for always having me on. >> Diana Joy show up the >> So, Ross, those James Gallagher, your favorite Stanable man. Absolutely great to have the Strainol back in the cage October 23rd. It's a Thursday, so mark that down on your diary. It's going to be a good one. Looking forward to seeing him back. What a guy. H he seems really happy at the moment. >> Yeah. No, it's great. It's uh Happy James Gallagher is a dangerous James Gallagher, Ross. And that's why we will be keeping you up to date on James' upcoming fight. So, make sure to like and subscribe and check out the Energize Shows Instagram page for all the latest Irish combat sports action. Ross. Absolutely. And speaking of happy fighters, we're going from James Gallagher to one of the happiest fighters in the country right now. The one and only. It's the lamb. It's Brian Manning after winning at EFC 5 the purge down in Cork. Not only did he get a win, he got a win over a Cage Warriors vet. The last minute change in opponent actually really benefited him. H was going in against Maxim Sarroa who we'll probably never ever hear of again. who was on a 17ight losing streak. He was he was he was brought into he was brought in to do the job against Manning and then he ended up fighting someone who you know has fought in Cage Warriors before a much more respected uh opponent in Carlson Daniel Carlson and Brian Manning got the job done and won. What a victory in front of a hometown uh crowd. Tell us about the walk out to the fight Basmo. Did you feel the the levels go up and the sort of hype go up on the night when you were watching it? >> Oh, absolutely, Ross. Um, look, when Brian Manning's on a card, everyone tunes in to watch it. And the way he has everything sorted from the walk out to the outfits to the the sort of like um the tunes being remixed. Um, he's just star in the making and that's why like Octagon need to get this guy in the cage ASAP. cross. Absolutely. They need to get him in I think before the end of the year that he obviously went fairly untouched in that fight. So fair play to him. Um massive win for him. Massive uh night of fights for the people down in Cork and uh Brian Manning stock is only rising. >> Yeah. No, it was overall watching the event it was a very good event. Very very well. Uh they will be back in December as well. So uh that'll be December 6th. EFC 6 will be going down. Um, Ross, some big wins on the night. Um, I have to say that, uh, Nick Rebanu won the welterweight title by unanimous decision. Um, but there's one fight, Shane Cardy getting a banana split submission in the first round as well. That was like the most impressive victory of the night. >> That could be Irish MMA submission of the year. >> Yeah. When was the last time you saw something like that, man? was Alamine Sterling, which is pretty like a high regard to be putting someone someone in there with, you know what I mean? >> Yeah, it was very very impressive. I remember Alderman Sterling did one and then someone else did one like very shortly after him in the UFC, but there hasn't been many of them. Like that could be the first banana split win in Irish MMA history, not going to >> lie. Well, they're not they're not that frequent. So, shout out. The Carmies are are absolute jiu-jitsu degenerates as we would call them. >> They love it. All three brothers, uh, Shane, Sean, and Stuart. And there's probably another brother in there that like I'm not as familiar with, but >> they are all absolute legends. And, uh, look, I'm here for it, you know. Oh, no. It was just, it was so impressive. Um also on the night um Shaolin MMA's Ran Dun Levy got the victory as well by submission. Uh also Daryl Leaz Tan O'Reilly got a submission victory and also Era Grapples Ronan shock shocknnessy got submission victory as well. So it was very grappleheavy victories Ross and also shout out to Johnny Dugen getting the decision victory as well. Um, it was, >> you know what they say, Basmo, there ain't no show like a JD show. >> There ain't no show like a JD show. But overall, it was a great event. Um, I think it ran quite smoothly. >> Oh, no. I was wrong. It wasn't Alma Sterling. It was actually Zabit. >> Zab got the banana split win. >> Zab Z Magur Sher Perov. Yeah, I think I actually remember that one cuz your man was stuck in the banana split for ages. >> Yeah. >> So Shane Harmony is learning off the beat. >> Yeah, man. That was a that that was just very impressive. So it was actually it was a very big night for Cork MMA. Um also the week before the Fars fighting championship was on as well and uh they will be back again before the end of the year. Ross, just off the top of your head, who do you think could headline now? Because I can't see Brian Manning competing in Cork again. >> Yeah, very very good question. I suppose uh Maga hasn't had a fight in a while. um he he could be someone who could headline the show. Wouldn't wouldn't be against seeing that. Maybe Jack Magguire could headline the show down there. I think there's a few few different options. Um who could could be headlining the showdown there. Like what about uh Ryan Spalan? Haven't seen him in a while. Aban Farrez, haven't seen him in a while. So there's a few pro fighters down the >> Lee Miguel as well. >> Lee Miguel. So there is a few out there. Uh Liam Miguel is probably probably the perfect uh option if he is all right after his last war that he had in the Kuma which probably a fight of the year contender. Oh no, definitely that's that's up there with one of the best fights in the year on uh the Ireland the island of Ireland and then um so yeah obviously Brian Manning got the victory Ross very very very impressive um as you said there like what what do you think Octagon can do with Brian Manning because like he's ready to go Ross >> I think he's I think they should make him the villain. I think he's ready to be the villain. I think he's ready to be the bad guy. He's ready to go into enemy territory and just [ __ ] [ __ ] up. Like there's no other way to describe it. He his walk out is absolutely iconic. He changes it up all the time. It's never the same. Put him in there against the Eastern European guys. You want to stand and bang and have a scrap. Like he he showed his improvements to his game as well. The calf kicks look good. The overhand right was well timed. He he looks to be a man on a mission at the moment and I feel like Octagon should be using him often uh and frequently and get him in there as much as he can and introduce him to the world. It's a bit like Tobias Herella. Tobias Herella like shouldn't really translate across the UK and Irish fans, but people love to watch him fight because the walk out insane fighting sts insane. He's a crazy guy in there. People love to watch Tobias Tobiasella same way people would love to watch Brian Mark. >> Exactly man. So, uh, I'm really looking forward to we will be keeping you up to date on what Brian Manning is getting up to next because, uh, and make sure to check out Brian Manning's Instagram as well. You don't know what he's doing these days. And also over the weekend, um, NextGen Northern Ireland's Andy Young lost on bad mofo as well. But Ross, speaking of entertaining fighters, Charles Oliviera defeated Matthew Scamra in the main event at UC Rio. Ross, what did you make of Charles Olivier's victory and who would you like to see him fight next? >> I think he was just showed he was levels above Gamera at this stage of his career. He is an absolute veteran of the UFC cage. He added another submission tally to his record for most UFC submissions. I want to see him fight Max Holloway next. I think Max Holloway for the BMF belt is a scrap that people watch. Five rounds. Let those two have at it and let's see who comes out on top at lightweight. I'll be down for that as well. And then this weekend, the UC is back in Vancouver and the main event is Renier Derritter against Brendan Allen. Ross, who are you swaying towards on this one? For me at the moment, it's got to be Renier Ditter. He's got all the momentum with him. I think a win here could get him a title shot versus Hamzach. I think that's that's one of the most interesting fights at middleweight to make. So, it's all Reniard Ritters to lose at the moment. Uh, a win there for him definitely puts him in there. I don't know like does a win for Brennan Allen put him in the title shot. I don't think people are clamoring to see Bren Allen in there for a title shot, but we shall see. Yeah. Also on the card, Kevin Holland's taking on Mike Malot. Marlon Cheo is taking on Arman Sahabi. And uh, also there's a shout out for Davy Grant. He's taking on Charles Jordane as well. Um, Ross, Irish MMA is back as well this weekend. Uh, before we get into cage conflict, we have to give a shout out to Owen Sheridan fighting at AFC Ross in Spain. We had Owen on the show last week. I'm going to attach it to the end of this show for the people who want to check it out. Uh, also we have to give a shout out to Pedro Carvalo who's fighting this week and as well at WNC for the lightweight title. featherweight >> and featherweight title. Sorry, excuse me. And then also Narus is fighting on Brave who fights out Bangto Muay Thai and also uh formerly of SPG Draada although he represents him still. So Ross this weekend Cage Conflict is back in the Devonish. Ross Ross, what is the Devonish most known for man? Cage Conflict of the Pleasure Boys, baby. You better believe it. There will be half naked men in there, but they will be going to war. We have main event uh credentials go to Damian McGwigan. He is the number one ranked flyweight in the UK, Europe, maybe the world. This man's uh pro debut is very very highly anticipated. I expect him to come in there and probably get the job done in one. That's how high we re we h rate this guy. He has highlight reel knockouts, most famously the highlight reel knockout over Matthew Fel. This guy is a man on a mission and I cannot wait to see him get in there. In the comwight event, Aaron Macdonald, he's in need of a win. He's now moved to fight Academy Ireland. He fights Marco Delido H in a lightweight showcase bow. That's one not to be missed as well. But this card is stacked from top bottom. Omas Oliver, the number one ranked bantamweight in the UK and Ireland. He will be f fighting uh Rory Burke for that Bank of Might title. Massive fight. H Bla McIll will fight uh Nathan Canaway. Um this is a massive fight as well. That's a lightweight uh bow. Nathan Canaway from Barbarians. Blame McIll from FAI. Um Kieran Masky in a super lightweight title fight will fa face Russ. Russ George 7-1. Kieran Masky 7-0. Two guys with very impressive records going through. So h Michael Shields with the featherweight title against Jared Ryan. Jared Ryan is one of the best uh featherweight/bantamweights in the country right now. Michael Shields, former energized amateur fighter of the year. What a scrap. Shawn McDerma will fight fight Jamie McCerty who's moved to FAI for the welterweight title amongst a host of many other fights. Baz, is that stacked or is that stacked? Oh no, it's uh it's only card. It is very >> also watch out for Matthew Poor a heavyweight as well. He's looked very very impressive. We saw him fight at Gladiator there recently enough. But that card is stacked. >> Yeah, like even you have James Slavin here who's turning pro. He's going to be taking on JD Paulo as well. >> That's actually also for the super featherweight title. Sorry, when I had the order that was there was a few fights announced in between them. That's a massive fight as well cuz James Lavin will turn pro at Chaos following this fight. So that's a massive fight. What's that? One, two, three, four, five, six toile fights and two pro fights. >> Yeah, that's that's impressive show. >> The card is very very stacked. I I actually I sometimes I wonder how does Shando even pull these cards off cuz like obviously he's like like like obviously the pro team have been traveling everywhere. Uh I think it's actually Shando's birthday there today as well. So shout out Shando and like obviously Pat there as well. But it's just it's like putting on a card like this, like the running of it, getting all the fighters ready, they'll basically be sitting cave for every each and every fight. Um, also the fact the way they're just abroad with Paul Hughes, obviously Ree and many more fighters. It's uh what they're doing up there in FAI is great. And also it'll be a big f of the cap for the opponents of the FI fighters like getting a scalp from FAI as well. cross. >> Yeah, absolutely. Like it's it's just a great card from start to finish. Like there's other fights on the card like Leon Davis fighting Adam Bran, um own Gar's fighting Jamie Maxwell. Like there's plenty of these fighters who are fighting on the card who I'm really excited to see go toe-to-toe and you know they probably we haven't mentioned them because of how stacked this card is. Like if you look at it, even even Oliver and um Damian Mcwigan, obviously Damian's gone pro, but Oliver and him and uh Damian Wigan, the number one flyweight in the UK and Ireland and the number one amateur UK and Ireland on the amateur scene, both fighting on the same card. This car is unbelievable to see. Uh it's it could be the best card of the year if I'm being honest. It's definitely up there. Okay, taking out the pro fights, which amateur fight are you looking forward to seeing the most? >> Pressure's on, man. Do you know what? There there's actually a few of them. Um, for me, >> you have to pick one, man. You have to pick one. >> I suppose probably Oliver, but I also think that Russ George versus Kier Masky fight is very interesting as well. But I also love the Jared Ryan and Michael Shields fight as well. So, and then you know Bla McIll and uh Canowway you know those VL and Barbarian they love a scrap and so does Bla McIll so I feel like that could be an obviously war. >> Yeah. Last time you're actually you're actually it's like I asked you to pick your favorite kid here. Like these fights are so good. >> Yeah. Blame Miguel is actually in like the fight of the night fights every event. >> Yeah. He loves it. He he'll also love you saying that. >> No, but it's true. It is true. He comes to scrap. He's going to scrap. >> So maybe it is the Bay Miguel fight then cuz like he's always in the fight of the night. >> Yeah. Well, well, we're going to find out this Saturday. >> We are going to find out the de >> I think it's sold out. >> It is sold out as well. >> You know what? I'm not surprised. Not surprised. >> Uh the event starts at 3:00 as well. Look at the promotion we're doing for this Cage Conflict card. Cuz you know what? Great cards. Great cards deserve great promotion, man. That's the way it is. But >> look, you say it how it how it is on the Enjoy Show. But um Ross, as I said, UFC Vancouver Cage Conflict, Cheryl's back, Naros is back, and Pedro's back. Um also, sorry, Ross, Craig Mcgraten is also fighting as well. That was a short notice uh fight announcement that happened over the weekend at Lahiti in Finland as well from So Craig McGraten from Team KF. Shout out to you. >> Undefeated. >> Undefeated. Ross. Can't believe I almost forgot that. But um Ross, that is the show for the week. >> Just want to give um one or two jiu-jitsu shoutouts as well if that's all right. Bas shout out to uh Germaine Mogowski. Uh he's become a regular on the show. He went over to Grapple Fest and picked up a lovely heel hook win against a black belt on a day's notice. He will fight any man any time. H also shout out to Zara Dfano who finished uh second in the pans uh and then also picked up a gold medal at lightweight in the London Open as well as a silver medal in the uh openweight. I think she lost someone who fought at heavyweight. So uh no shame in that. And then >> yeah, >> h shout out to Tom King who won his 10th gold medal as a black belt uh at the London Open as well. And then uh two anals up at Northern Ireland uh grapple fest. We saw Khloe Walker get the decision win over Khloe Krowier and then we saw Sam Quinn get a win decision win over Ryan Rody. So, uh, shout out to all the Jits nerds all up and down the country. Uh, we're trying to get more jiu-jitsu content out there. So, if there is actually jiu-jitsu content that you want to see us do, do let us know. Do let us know. Well, James Gallagher is like just one of the biggest prodigies in Ireland have in jiu-jitsu as well. Um, Ross, as always, we'll be back next week as we'll be covering all this weekend's action and there will also be Clan Wars is back and UC 321. So, Ross, anything else you want to say before we wrap up this very energized show, man? >> No, just uh make sure to follow the guys who are fighting this week. Always cool to support the Irish MMA fighters. And if you were lucky enough to get a ticket to Cage Conflict this weekend, make sure to check it out. And if you are not, get it on the pay-per-view. It is a fantastic show. Thanks uh million to everyone. Um we appreciate your support. So, make sure to like, share, subscribe, and as always, stay energized. >> Stay energized. >> The Enjoy Show. Up the Irish. It's the face that runs the place, Chaos Cortis. I want to thank the Irish MMA community so much for getting behind me. Yep. The chaos cartel.
