fighting over in efc next weekend the 6th of november taka how are you doing man i'm very good lance here he can't complain can't complain better after sunday you know we'll forget about that like i'll say i was quite heartbreaking feels like i i never expected a five nail finish to be honest yeah like that's just pretty insane like even with ronaldo you still lost weight now after after 15 minutes once we went to liverpool like the game is over so like after that it was like you know um what they call um you're trying to limit the damage but they didn't do a good job that either so it is what it is yeah thank god we covered that paradigm already that's out of the show uh on today's show obviously we have taka so we're gonna have we're gonna be promoting taka's fight he's fighting next week on efc 90 and then we're going to be going into this weekend's ufc 267 you see his back is on foot on we can't wait so like uh attack it your fight was announced last week it was broken by the one owning ian on el shadow in a near ross yeah you know yeah tell us all about it yeah so uh i'm back fighting the 6th of november on efc 90 so just give me one second for it with my second profession for it and also my second flight with the promotion and uh juwanda is one and on she seems pretty solid pretty dynamic striker but um it's gonna be a lot smaller than my last pound i think they got the saw i think they got my last pound was actually bigger than me for the first time we were saying if you're on the one to watch last time you're asking the very first time yeah like that's what happened yeah now look because like because chris is like oh he's not that big he's not that big he's not that big and i've seen him he's like he's he's pretty big like he's huge and then um yeah like even with court and stuff like that like i was so light that i never didn't actually put back on that much way for the last one so it was pretty light and i looked at me and i was looking at myself i was like i was like this guy was bigger than me what's going on here but i obviously like to kind of adjust the welcome belt but it is what it is i got to win so onto the next one that's what that's what you went there for yeah one thing i want to talk about i don't know if you saw it recently but we had a jake hadley on there he was former efc flyweight champion and does that give you great confidence seeing that someone was an efc champion and has now made it to the ufc obviously trickers duplicity is there as well that that that door is open from efc absolutely like you know yes he's one of one of the biggest promotions in the world and like one of the most well known and also the biggest one and african content like so like just seeing the likes of uh drinkers to places and jake how do you get moving on and down to your seat just gives me even more even more motivation and even more drug to kind of get that built and kind of cement myself as a champion in the promotion because um obviously like it is a pathway to ufc now because so many guys are getting on so it's it's it's definitely stephanie go to be on such a such a big show and i'm not having to work my way to the big show to get to the big show again if you get me so i was going to go through it to kind of have 30 of my foot in the door and have uh the contract for multiple um for the [ __ ] contract with them just to kind of like just just now i have a path and i have like a road to drc with them yeah definitely one of the biggest stars they have now on the roster like one of the building stars as well yeah definitely and another another point on that is you do have a multiple fight contract there and how many fights would you like to have there before you fight for a title i know some people might say you know they might be rushing you and that but i think that you had quite an extensive amateur background so someone might look at you as one no well i don't look at it that way i look at you know nearly a seasoned martial artist at this stage yeah absolutely like and the thing is like um like especially for around the uk and irish circuit like it's it's it's basically sending pro and i mean like if there's no shin pads no not rash cards none of that stuff so it's like the only thing you're missing is the elbows and stuff like that but like that's unfortunate around but like that's their little small adjustments that you can work on but like i've been trying as a pro since basis to walk into the door that's kind of how chris conducts business everybody should be trained as a pro even if you're an amateur and uh and kind of live up to kind of his expectations and his expectations are kind of going to go in there you work hard and you perform and that's it really so i consider myself i guess going to save myself as a one or no problem because if the pandemic hadn't happened i would have been four or five now but now but um but now at this point so um i'm literally just looking to get the toughest voids and like put it home i want to get the i'm going to be fighting for about maybe my fourth or fifth fight come coming close to that and i think i'll probably get to my fourth fifth website but like in september october next year and hopefully and hopefully finish off the eighth and half with that with four now next year and with the belt yeah definitely i i think i've already like looked at the sort of the bantamweights and went right who can who can we get taka in there for a total shot with and there's actually a fella um shannon van tutter tundra i think yeah i don't know if you've seen him before yeah and i was like i was like that's one i want to see down the line i think he's three you know at the moment and he's in your weight class so i was like right that there's one and that i'm looking out for because i was trying to have a look across efc's roster to be like right if uh if taka's in the efc energizer and efc so we have to see what's going down you know what the promotion even uae warriors were just like yep was like who could john mitchell point next and i was like i was like leave it with me i'll have a look at the roster and i'll see but uh van thunder looks like a good opponent down the line yeah vantander looks solid i think he's i think he's actually fighting the federator he looks solid in his eye in his last two points i think he's very very good grappling looks like solid all around but yeah like i'm just i'm here from here for the top scorers you know and like there's another kind of salmon or something like that i don't know if we're getting after his name right or wrong but like it's just it's it looks it looks like salmon or something i'm not too sure it's honestly but uh yeah he looks pretty tall you know so how am i now and hey man like just so there is no competition there that that can definitely give me a tesla like that's that's the game i mean i'm looking to come in here and uh and for the best of the best and last time you obviously had you obviously have to go over to africa to fully was any of the travel or anything like that did the upcoming issue with the white coat or anything or do you think this time you'll even nail it even more because you've already done it once before yeah i think i think yeah it's more of a just an adjustment period really like it's like it's like everything like the first time it's kind of gonna be touch and go kind of figuring out which which way it works between it doesn't work but for this one i um yeah i kind of have a little bit more game plan in terms of like like with the amount of weight on the call and like on the flight over because i think you lose you lose some you lose a good few couple of layers of water per hour you're on the floor so i think i feel 15 i was all together so like my weight was actually quite low i just had been away at the beginning of four weeks so which is good at the time but at the same time i kind of like being a little bit heavier kind of like having a little bit more waste so this time i'm going to i'm just going to just going to eat a little bit more which is easy to do so yeah and then in terms of like being over there like i want to be a lot more familiar with the hotel to set up the people that work there and it's going to be a lot more comfortable and more familiar for me so i'm looking forward to kind of just getting back in there and just being more camera like there's a lot of there's a lot kind of riding on the last flight now like it's the first one plus all the stuff for the media and plus the video and like there's just everything that's kind of happening all at once but this time i'm kind of more prepared mentally and kind of have it all broken off myself a lot more well i'll tell you this you couldn't tell that you were in any way nervous from after you nail at the press conference like you know take people's names and then the walk out chris feels dancing i didn't think i'd ever see that in my entire life the question is who's the better dancer chris feels the carpenter that's the biggest question oh all of it into his hips and whatnot so so calls kind of holding back a little bit so hopefully with this one now we got the uh we got the hip sleeves from a little bit more before fails you know but as always i'm actually happy that we finally have a also is there any other fights on with team kf that people have to look out for as well yeah absolutely um so how we can watch the voice so we're gonna it's gonna be on efc worldwide.tv and we're currently in the middle of uh trying to work out would be able to channel seven on skies so we can be aired on that because they air and some african ships some african programs and stuff like that so we're trying to get deals sorted with them so hopefully we can make that happen and hopefully actually hopefully i don't know if it's going to say that or not but like it's said now so doesn't matter yeah so efc worldwide tv and november 6th and i think we'll be on around four o'clock uk time or the show starts around 4 o'clock uk time um i'll confirm i'll confirm that with everybody later on and then the last two watch that are coming up and basically everyone really like the amateur goals that come true now are very exciting everyone everyone's looking sharp you know there's been a lot of fights happening over the last last couple of months so everyone's everyone's camp's just constantly trickling to each other so everyone can't sit down helping children getting better so um obviously across armed rounds won't be the big one on uae this weekend this thursday actually i think yeah until next time now and of course muay forest want to be watching as well and then the loud be on and cage conflict is going to be a big show as well so if you're playing the fda allows representing and uh and doing rhyming very well and putting on a good show so that's definitely show to look out for yeah absolutely uh i'm definitely looking forward to seeing on ramen floyd especially back down on welterweight where i think he performs better um and then he had like you know the shelly bros conrad camille yeah and benzo and shadow benzo you and him or toyota's anything aren't you and uh and on all the team kf flats i mean they they're they seriously are a hot gym but you have to have to keep your eye on and i'm looking forward to seeing those boys compete and do their damn thing and one last question before we do jump into the ufc 267. obviously feels he's over in abu dhabi getting his best living his best life over there with omran and who's holding down the fourth at team kf at the moment um so like obviously tom is there but like the mma sessions like we've we've done enough work in the gym over the last couple years it's kind of not what we know what we're going to do so like um you're kind of this this is just a mutual thing last week like we're not with home reception what time what time we're trying now and what we're doing each day because chris kind of had a schedule tonight for us some from months ago so we're just kind of following that and kind of recording sessions from and uh and kind of holding it down and keeping the world keeping work very high yeah that's it you have to keep that chat champion monitor definitely yeah so if you are new to the show on this saturday october 30th so like because there is a few main events that we definitely have to check out we also thought it was great ideas as well attacker to discuss the bantamweight title as well but we're going to start at the very very top roscoe aren't we yeah we are indeed we have mystic attack in here for a few predictions yeah so we'll start the very very top roscoe for the loya heavyweight young black which is taking on global picture and this one it russ we're gonna start that we're like what do you expect from these two they're the the two big dogs in the lighthead weight division well i i think it's gonna be very evident that glover ducher is gonna try his very very best to get this to the ground and glover to share on on the ground from the top position it's very hard to stop uh i think yaml hovers just gonna want to keep this on the feet and he showed an unbelievable game against israel out of sanya he showed he has that vicious polish power against dominic reyes and obviously glover was unbelievable in his run i think you know he was allowed out of the retirement home this week to come over to floyd island to get this it's an unbelievable story for both these guys both these guys were probably written off on one stage and are now fighting for for the title it's going to be a brilliant flight but i do sort of feel like jan's going to get the job done inside too i think you could be able to knock the share out i don't think his chain is quite what it used to be but uh if there's ever a man not today at this stage is their career it's probably glover to share talking what about yourself yeah absolutely not i kind of kind of agree with most so if you said that like to share is very tough like anything he's been around the world so i don't know if that like if that i've been a mortgage on his body he's going to do many favors against him especially the fact that jan's kind of hitting his strawberries he has his confidence down he knows he knows what he can do and he knows he knows what he does well so like i think like i'll be going i began for a bit more more and more this way but obviously like like you said to share as he's a tough guy like he's a veteran and he can never count the milk because he's so crafty and the fact that like at his age he managed to get him to wreck himself and wrap himself in the wind to get himself a total shot kind of just go it kind of goes to show like he's he's still there and he's still dangerous yeah buzz what's your take on it yeah like obviously we're gonna have to stick with our european counterpart jan blehovich even though glover it's great to see that he did get the tallest shot he fully deserves but as tucker just alluded to there like yan is on a freight train right now and uh i'm gonna have to back the polish power you better believe it yeah so we're gonna get into the co-main event the bathroom bantamweight interim talk about between peorian and corey sanhagen takaman dude this is your division board so like tell us exactly what you think of these two lads these two boys are solid yeah i like it i've been watching yarn for a long time and san hagen kind of recently kind of got on my radar but uh janice jans boxing's crisp is his takedowns on rails he's seems like he has solid enough jesse on top pressure and stuff so like he's he's very very good but i think san hagen kind of somehow makes it up a lot better and he's he's a lot longer than you and i think i think i thought sound had been on the floor against tj i'm sure so like i'm i'm backing i'm fighting san hagen for this one and i think i think he just he's too long he's still he's very versatile but the fact that yams can't see moving forward and he's constantly like he's he's in your face a lot i think that's going to play with diane's favorite like when he goes if he goes later into the rounds but as of now i think i think sandhag and san diego i like san diego justin what do you guys think about you want to go first you want me to go i'll go first it's just uh i thought i loved peorian like i absolutely love him and like bear no more and john boy he's probably listening to us trying coach like he's irish from tony god great story but like peoria is just i think it's unreal and then obviously all the stuff happened with them al james sterling which with the controversy and then he sort of like like went back down on the ground and everyone went nuts saying he quit not like i mean this is this is the world of mma you know i mean it's pure entertainment but uh like i do like cory sanhagen but there's something about peoriana it was just one of my favorite like he's just a pure bulldog in there and that way he's trying to speak a bit trying to get better at the english language for a good man john boy uh i have to go peorian pure purely biased as well ross yeah i think this is probably the best void on the card on the night i think like these are two of the most elite fighters the ufc has to offer piaudian as attack allude to his boxing so crisp we saw his takedowns against aldermen sterling the trips he uh implemented that fight were absolutely insane and corey sandhagen he's in the fight for the whole 25 minutes destroying is very explosive we saw that flying knee against frankie edgar we saw him go toe to toe with the former champ tj dillashaw for 25 minutes an absolute barn burner it it has all the makings for pure fireworks to fight those but uh i think i'm going to go pyote on i just think he he is slightly better at the takedowns so therefore i think he'll be able to take corey sanhagan down if he's not having his way on the feet um or who knows he might actually decide to take the fight to the ground for the first couple of rounds wear sand hanging down and then and then compete on the feet but i don't know after watching peter young for you jose aldo i just think he's a stone cold killer yeah this could be would this be a pickle in the end oh yeah i think the line on this when it comes to the bet not to be very close to me wrong a lot so like you mean yeah we'll take this one yeah i'm joking like every single every single time or twice or try something because lazarus asking for bets it always goes the opposite way like i mean anything i say while we're doing this everyone just deal with the opposite thing but what do you say definitely it's like fancy football you know yeah definitely okay okay uh okay what like one of the other fights that people have to look for out for as well is islam taking on dan hooker in the lightweight division ross said islam is like coming up the rankings very very fast and like a lot of people are talking about what is it about islamic chip that people have to look out for this weekend well i think it's probably the holy praise that javier mendez has put on one of his pupils that he's the best wrestler in the gym including could be mega madoff and when people hear someone's grappling is better than khabib i mean like that gets like a people worried and i think islam's biggest problem is that a lot of people turn them down as an opponent uh some of the criticism of her coming into this fight is you know none of his wins are over ranked opponents it's not exactly his fault two of his last three opponents actually have been ranked but he's knocked them out of the rankings so um he is an absolute force to be reckoned with and he's fighting the very gritty dan hooker and dan hooker obviously coming off a win against nate hasperkat and for those who don't know he's the kelvin gaston gaston looking fella and so like you mean no messing there like dan hooker came over i think made weight on or arrived on thursday made wave friday and then fought on saturday he he's a he's a bad mofo and but i don't know i just i just fancy islam max having this i just feel like he'll have good enough grappling for 15 minutes to get the job done if it was a 25 minute fight i might lean towards dan hooker he's been in more 25 minutes fights and i don't know if islam would be able to wrestle for that 25 minutes straight because that pace is uh very good but over 15 minutes i fancy islam makachev taka yeah i yeah i see like i like that hookup lossy that's the problem like i hate betting against damn but islam isn't he's another force in the minute and like like down's a good test from i think like after dan's last performance he showed a lot of grappling improvements in that area because he's usually kind of just getting kind of banging and kind of getting into the pocket a lot but um i think but i think i think islam i think his time takes down charles and 15 minutes and like don't know downs very springy but like that kind of that kind of style wears on you a lot especially if you're trying to especially especially if the first round doesn't go your way and you're trying to get the coins back like there's a lot of um there's a lot of things that can go wrong in terms of you trying to get that to get to get to you in terms of you trying to get that floyd back going to your way like like if dan says bomber starts trying to clip him with something then you know like that's that's going to be an opening for islam to take him down but i think if that can tell him that nate if like that's like like i might put money on dan hooker's second round like neither face knockout i really don't think i really don't think that he's very very very capable of that but um we're going with telling me islam yeah i think that's always the problem when you fight such a good wrestler that like you might get taken down with four minutes left to go in the round and like against islam you're probably not getting back up i'm like that's a rough place to be for foreign ministry definitely yeah i'm gonna go with islam as well just in case he he hears how i went against them you know but then like one of the places i'm actually most looking forward to on the weekend is the return of kazma maya he's taking on lee jin liang in the welterweight division um like that's like that's not messing around here like cosmos one of the scariest dudes on the roster he's one of the most one of the most hyped about people then unfortunately he did he had to come off a few cars because of covet he announced he was retiring and now boars is back roscoe yeah he is i think chasmat's record is like 168 strikes to like six um he is an absolute frightening concept to have to stand across and zone yeah sweden's own straight out of chechnya uh he he is an absolute animal it's a bit like uh tak mandu you know zimbabwe's own straight out dublin ireland uh but he he is absolutely forced to be reckoned with um obviously lee zhang ling is um he's coming off a win against santiago ponzinibio knockout win in the first round so you know he's got power in his hands but can he stop that tape down against um kazma and also he's shown to have that power up at middleweight as well so i think kazuma is going to go in there probably take him down probably i'd say second round tko or submission whichever presents itself i think that's the type of pressure he plays it's a bit like with islam the amount of pressure these guys apply with the wrestling it's very hard to defend against it you have to be the very most operational goalie to be able to stop that pressure yeah when were you first introduced to cosmo and uh what did you think yeah i was introduced to kazuma about i think the same time around the same time as everyone else and then when he first exploded onto scene i was like geez this guy is an animal i think he fought like one week and he thought the next week or something wasn't it yeah he fought yeah three or four days john phillips and then like 10 days later he fought rhys mckee and then like three weeks later he fought gerald gerald and mesh method yeah yeah yeah i remember watching this before i think it was i think it was on this point where kind of kind of took me out with something because obviously not recently yeah from the original work and stuff like that again the car looks i was happy for him but that that guy is absolutely yeah yeah yeah they all trying the same james so like that's an and after and then after kind of hearing that i looked at your mind and you knew trying to him so i was like well that's crazy but like and then i end up looking back looking back and i was older voice and yeah i don't i don't really see him kind of kind of taking any real damage until you get some top ten top five top four people in the division yeah i'm sort of like waiting for him just to rack up enough wins for usement because like that's a thought i'd love to see yeah yeah like yeah for people watching like do not make as much money like he's he's everything you need you'd look for in a bond villain as well which is uh perfect for once you're retired but like exactly yeah so like we're all all aboard the cosmic train there excuse the pawn but uh there's a couple other flights in the car that we'll just go through quickly um alexander volkov's taking on martial in the heavyweight division ross what do you expect from here yeah well i actually expect um volkov to win this i think he'll use that length he's about six foot seven and i think he'll just keep him at a distance however tabor is coming on a five-foot win streak which is no mean feat in the heavyweight division volkov's coming off a loss to the interim heavyweight champion and cyril gampa i think volkov is actually the better of the two and i think he'll be able to sort of keep him at length and use those long limbs to keep him there taka you're a man who's used to use not reached advantage what do you think yeah definitely yeah also i think i think i have [ __ ] up with the first one i think i think in the fight against uh lewis like he was doing well he's using jabbing stuff with that but like with a little it only takes one point and he's kind of unfortunate but he's winning that for you and i think that's this time you got a kind of a similar situation where he's just jabbing for the four years picking him apart using his reach and then uh especially five fighters three round four i think i think he's going to favor volkov definitely yeah i think you'll probably i think it will actually reach the score cards as well you know that two lots are uh are quite good at going the distance for heavyweights but one that won't reach the distance bars give us one that won't reach the distance wonder won't reach uh well vulcan knows me against magmad and kalayev oh absolutely i think i think this one doesn't make it out the first five minutes uh obviously ankaloyav be on cootie bala uh twice in a row and like that was very very impressive and always ozdemir is not called no time for nothing and so i think this one's going to go inside the first round uh i like ankalive i think he's a real force to be reckoned with in that light heavyweight division i think you know name recognition he's probably not up there with the other guys yet but skill wise i think he's right up there oh he has like spinning wheel kicks and everything in his arsenal and i think he definitely wants to keep an eye out for and if you are looking to put a few euros down he's one for me yeah then also notified you have to look out for for the european people uh mac one amir county is taking on learn murphy as well in the featherweight division so uh taka before we wrap things up on the two 267 card is uh is there anything like in particular you're really looking forward to like anything you want to let there there give us your for the night there give us a fight like my 59 for two six seven i think that's what you know could be i think let me think about this one i think if if ant alive and yeah that's the one i think if them two boys can't knock each other out we're in for a fight or night and like i think because alzheimer's always means like he's real small pacing coming but like when he goes he goes and i think he's going to catch you and go over one exam when he's always expecting a couple of times and i think i think there's going to be nice back and forth and also lauren murphy and um mark one yeah i was literally topology picture just in my head because like like if you if you're on this apology page it's just a picture of him with a lot of girls so i couldn't remember his name but uh yeah him and him around is going to be good for you i think mark won black one's on a two-fourth skate at the minute and he needs to win this one so i think he's gonna be coming in here with like with a bit of a like with a bit of a bit of perfect four in his belly because he knows that if he loses this one and he's out and lauren's lauren's gonna have he's been on the house streak he's been killing everybody so i think he was continuing on and um i think the empty occurred very well before you know as well i think that thing has a recipe for a recipe to be a banger yeah absolutely you know i think uh mac one americani holds the record in the fedway vision for the fast ever win i think he has a knockout in something like eight seconds i think was and the ogre i think it was if i'm not correct so um yeah i think that's definitely gonna be uh one to look out for as well especially for the european interest pool for me for illinois i think it's it's your co-main event one way or the other uh corey sondheim versus piotrian like it doesn't actually get much more high level than that exactly i'm just looking forward to return to cosmo like this one like seeing people like this fight it's just like jeez oh miserable tv i swear to god bosnia's already given
