performance he said he was going to do it he's been saying it for a long time he's had doubters but um he done it how did it feel to win that battle especially in the hostile crowd uh first experience of my life a lot the whole just I've learned about even the gambling up to it like I'm so uh just like it's almost like a relief when you win it because there's so so much like in the training was actually about old documentary I'm not here now but the whole cab coming up to it and then the fight then we interview authors they can again or an Insight like what the camp was like it was insane and obviously the title loans but that was a kid was a girl for like 10 years so it was probably just more relief to get over the lane more than anything but uh no unbelievable experience like the week of being roamed with my team the fight itself was a [ __ ] an absolute scrub and then I took like 80 odd people over the rooms and then I had like three days in Rome after so it's like the best experience of my life I was I'll never forget I was unbelievable it was it was very good and like that going into hostile territory does that motivate you more or would you've liked it to be on one of the the Irish cars like the Dublin card or did you like did it mean more going over and silence in the crowd like just like the novelty of Flint are almost like so good I just felt like there's literally live in the rain then like the next day it was me and all my mates were in Rome on the rep with the battle like it was special that was a class experience obviously like Dublin will be good or would have been good and stuff but uh no it's like a room will always special Camino for the rest the rest of my life I uh I'm glad it was away also glad to have my own show to be main event and just the everything comes with that too but now's it was just a crazy time lapse on labor yeah no it was a fantastic performance I can't remember what show was on or we were at show when I remember we were all looking at our phones and everyone was sharing it to each other when it happened um I think there was there was like a home show and we were all like right when's he fighting when's he fighting when's he fighting and then yeah see people running around the cage but you mentioned the documentary there um yeah I obviously you know what I do on the Irish you know I'm involved with a lot of the amateurs and and some of them bro so I kind of see what you go to on a day-to-day basis um do you think like this documentary is coming out to stock gonna document the cams you think a lot of people they see the 15 minutes or you don't go past two rounds usually anyway so um do you think they they see that performance on the night but like obviously you and your opponent bolt went in there to win and like obviously his Camp was gonna be gruel and do you want to give people an insight to that is that what the documentary is about or can you expand more on it obviously if you can if you can't it's okay no absolutely uh I thought it was there it's actually two Lads from Belfast uh who studied over here media and it was just for their dissertation so they're in as much as the code uh I think people I think a lot of people will get a an actual a bit of a shark that's the how hard I actually trained I heard Colin earns sessions are I actually think people watching will probably want to come give us gym not just to move but like to come together to go for a week or two it's uh it'll be eye-opening some of the sessions were [ __ ] insane like I feel like if you're preparing for like an elite level tie box or say you're fighting like a road time Nashville the fight will be very so we're only very physically sorry kind of the bruised leg a [ __ ] broken rib a broken face or whatever but the training camp for an elite level wrestler like tell the most and how much I respected him going in meant that I a lot of rooms are like well obviously I'm very lucky to be surrounded by literally Elite level wrestlers from obviously make his son jack and there's a lot of Iranians in the UK that have a good affiliation for a gym but you represent around so a lot of like the range would have been worst case scenario and then fight out fighter them situations just day in day out new boys coming in so I think people will actually be people who think fighters who think it's Reinhardt will be surprised how are writing so I I can't wait and obviously with like you come across as quite Brash let's say but I think it's more confidence and the confidence comes from obviously training because like that you showed your opponent's respect in the past um yeah where did your conference conference come from is it that train and that you do absolutely training comes from from our accomplishments from my training um every time like I I [ __ ] like seeing a rice drinks bar band always like like I went to travel stuff for the last wait for some spots for some big ninja in the UK and every single time was for a month wait like I just take more confidence like they feel they feel like children every time every time we gotta grip them every time they spoil after they always like uh they always always get the same reaction really get the same they always say the same things to me and it's sad until you're in front let me tell you feed my pressure you won't have felt that abandonment I I always feel it and then and I always uh it's the mo I can always have when I'm breaking again and my cough my confidence comes in this I do this time and Time and Time and Time and Time time again in the gym and uh that's from a confidence I trained with over covet I had been filming with some big UK names to come into our gym because obviously like we had tail fighting and fade Island and Grande and Tom hospital so we had this like [ __ ] Elite athlete [ __ ] I don't know what the [ __ ] it was so a lot of bad guys in UK Bellator cage Wars Champions overcome-up third gym and trend and I couldn't get a fight but these were basically my five days these guys were coming in these big bantamless values and Lakewoods and I left covered warm well obviously had no competition I couldn't compete and that's probably what people say I was like a [ __ ] talker because I wasn't actually gonna backing it up but I left covered absolutely [ __ ] wired to like like to the head like I knew it was I was just itching to fight itching at the same with a big promotion just jump under the bed to compete but just Uber Uber Uber confident that as soon as as soon as I got the call from kjo or something that I was gonna go I was gonna go straight through them I knew it was one of the rooms I'd seen myself against these guys like these big names I knew it was going to go through through kids Wars Division I had no doubt about it so conference absolutely comes from the gym no every single person comes to coborn water it's from the moment he says go at his balls to the [ __ ] wall until the session end it's it's Next Level Training so absolutely my confidence comes from my preparation absolutely you know when it sounds like covert a lot of people love flowers that sound like over covered a lot of have done what you've done and used it to improve and obviously the north skill and a lot of Fighters said maybe because like that there was no competitions shows were being canceled um and obviously you made the most of it but obviously with your move over to Liverpool do you want to talk about that like you've all brewed your life to go there for MMA and and what made you make that decision and why that gym yeah well I mean the gym with the most kids are USA Fighters right of any gym that's part of the world like we're at 10 all of which is from how much are two Pros most recent ones were gun detail and Austin they all are their Amazon which is quite rare um it's on the label really on the labels thought that uh I had I was fighting through them how much are I'd obviously won the kids Legacy title on the uh climb Wars title and then I went and represented Ireland in like a cage Warriors like European series um I lost through Nathan Fletcher at the time and that Nate darn tail was fighting Tyron Woodley which is obviously the biggest Nate in cobons history they're fighting very UFC World title and they're in Dallas time and a couple days after when the video come out Ali McLean from Belfast uh Sherman Bay Legend does a lot of grappling over here he uh he messaged me and said basically there's like a technical issues I've made and that I'm a better fighter he thinks I could I could go further than Nathan I should come over and have a go and I kind of thought was about that that would be good stuff it was obviously I've been following Tails raised as everyone had a dark stage his mentality and his confidence and his Outlook and his photos taken in and obviously Colin I got a lot of media attention too there's a couple of like uh UFC connectives with the gym and stuff and I really started saying [ __ ] I'd love to go trainer but I would schedule the fight that Rory Library I lost anything I knew that Marathon wasn't good enough and what I was doing wasn't good enough but there's a really loudly and I remember I was traveling literally going everyone go in Dublin for going all my Belfast I never get a boxing gym a jitu gym anywhere again any sort of dream um by the end of the week I remember clocking up 880 males wow another absolutely wrecked I just basically my recovery was driving and that's not really recovery like I was [ __ ] wrecked and that I better said [ __ ] yes I need somewhere like I can get underneath like all Under One Roof you know yeah and that Ali had contacted me and obviously the Gym's record speaks themselves so I thought it really love it on Saturday night and I was on the cobal mat on like the Tuesday and they got my eyes opened to say at least but then I was good then he's a new I knew I won one of two things and he was like I was gonna go back to Tyrone be the [ __ ] big man run to your own people no way you're the Big Man on your gym you can go have that have that life easier training or I can go here dedicate my life to this thing sleep in the gym and get my head punched in by these UFC fighters every day every day we met less and then I chose the ladder on that thank God I didn't know it was the best there's never made on me yeah because obviously he's brought you to where you are today and I like that you see a lot of parts that like to be known around their area or this and and are in the gym but you ain't talking to us what the first week was like going in like the difference in intensity training like did you leave the week on [ __ ] me this was tough I remember very well because I've been on the sorry it was the Wednesday night I went and then the wait our first session was like a box is born I left that kind of half feeling myself I was [ __ ] I don't know right there because I was like [ __ ] I don't I don't well I don't weather and then the next day was uh MMA class um I'll never forget it so I'd box make that fours like [ __ ] half is like you know I don't I don't okay the next day I came out for an MMA sport I could try to sit behind a job boom put that down first take down come on down and uh supported all these truth I looked up to the clock and it was 4 52 and I was like I was in a crucifix 452 on the clock eight seconds on their end and I handed their own in crucifix as four minutes went to get my head absolutely caved in so uh a different intensity Lodge it's like literally since then but it uh it's proven loud that's why we've got time boys UFC competing for UFC World title I run three key drawers so spiritually I mean yeah and obviously that is the next logical step we would have heard by now if you've been signed but I'm I'm presuming that is going to come very soon um you've been quite impressive through your program like that he said you kind of like to have the rise and McGregor you've got the brashness the dish he said you're going to do it and you're doing it so um one of the things obviously I think it's seven out of eight you're twice you've got finishes um yeah up until you last week fights you're really questioned by a lot of people though with your opponents and stuff but like you could only fight who's put in Frontier I do think yeah you like with those last three performances and what you've done against these very very these excellent Fighters do you think that shot a lot of people up and or did you even listen to that noise again with this sport like you're not if this came out anything until you're proven otherwise you know what I mean so I don't even know if people want to like talk a little [ __ ] to me and I run through here towards you know they're like oh no actually it's good I actually don't even blame you for that because I understand it you have to you have to prove yourself in this game especially talk as big as I do and I'll be honest with that I don't think I've proved anything because I don't think age words that I have all I think it's quite easy I've been honest with in case yours is easy I think I'm testing for a big big big big face I want to fight Sugar Shane and T-Mobile I want to fight these are the big fights for me not [ __ ] Luke Shanks or [ __ ] Dylan's honor fastest they don't I never thought again guys like these are like potential banana skins I never and I listen to Nathan says I do want to fight him because he's like a high risk I don't see that even as like a risk I don't see these guys as even like I just don't see them ever surviving they're never gonna they're I think I don't think they can like earn verse I don't think I'm keeping me often do you know what I mean if I keep going through them so uh people I did obviously shut a lot of people up but no no I go to the didn't I hadn't beat anybody of any note I still don't think I have anything I was like I need a once you start winning the top 15 UFC then in my eyes I'll start to back up what I've been saying but I'm still gonna get better I'm still gonna fight the same job I mean but if people if you have people with you and against you it propels your creator more interest in your face is what you want as a fighter of course yeah I like the Floyd Mayweather Conor McGregor people want to say yeah people who want to see you win to see to see you fight uh essentially but you talked about obviously do you have seen I see an interview with you there you you think you match up quite well against like sugar Shawn O'Malley do you think he's overrated do you think he got he got pushed quite quickly absolutely I I almost swear all my life like a boxer in my diet it's like a break I'm in seven minutes eight minutes I don't even think he'd be hard fight that's truth I don't think it's hard I think it's partial with I think it's part of it I think his dragon's very rich I think he's been put in the position that two fights about because he's good on Tech talk I think he learned I think he's literally just a bit guppy by period and his title fight or sorry container face but uh Platinum hey he's making a lot of dough and I like watching games that came to the topic so far up but I think I'll do my favorite I'll do in the title fight Johnny yeah I think agile I think a lot of people disrespect aljo I think but no not anymore I [ __ ] He's earned Myers back to play up much yeah no I I is are you admin that UFC is next for you but there's been some offers and been some discussions with the UFC uh should maybe not operate at the moment but we're definitely definitely a good place um for a fighter what you want is options and I have options that's good even like if it was still in the UFC it was Contender series or if it was back on cage Wars I've got a list of guys that are [ __ ] call me every weekend so it's it's it's good as a fighter to have options and I definitely have options but not a lot of one fighting you see next because I just don't see the point like I've literally just beat the best guy in the division I genuinely I said that going in Dylan was there internationally acclaimed wrestler he's the guy he's been competing at World level on the feed coming Ragdoll everybody engage Wars I genuinely don't think anyone will compete with them other than me so I was like told me to take a step back and be fake guys you're a really proven failures in case yours like is that do you honestly think you're gonna beat me like seriously like what is the point I don't see the point of me going back but if I have to it's there but I want to fight in UFC there was all there was that fight with Kim the same and there was talks with the with this [ __ ] this weekend on the volkyard um please God it'll be the UFC next if it's not it's an outlet what can you do like you know I mean you can't go back to key towards here and what a [ __ ] privilege go go defend my cage Wars World title in October in the RDS in Dublin [ __ ] solo Arena that would be that'll be unbelievable like I mean if you're gonna sit here and we have Yap and they're like oh that's not good like of could that be unbelievable John me so either way it's either way I'm happy enough to I but it was honestly that that's it not overall like high level matches but in every fate there was one good fighter at least and I'd say there was about seven to eight very very high level I'd say honestly it was the highest level Armature yard I've seen in Ireland in a while it was seven eight very very good fighter so I mean yeah no and he did say that to me before so it's 100 True Championship it was like that um I speak to amateur fight as well and that's it like you said when he kind of came true there wouldn't have been the technique there is now the evolution you see you coming through and the Amber's like tearing and you're Max Lali Conor McCarthy's like the level yeah scary commentary when you look at what's coming behind you think there's gonna be a lot more Irish fighters in the UFC with yourself when you eventually get there absolutely absolutely um hopefully not because uh well hopefully Ian can I take it back and we can all get in that's that would be ideal and then down the line with me I go back and say three or four hours underneath me you know what I mean so no absolutely that's how you that's why this thing goes and that one game comes back and everyone is saying that just keeps growing I think obviously you have the McGregor thing that was obviously mad but it was one gay I think like I genuinely expect Ian's running top before it was you know but I think he's about to be Japanese like we probably will win the top ten IX but Paul used to be very very very competitive with the high level gaze very soon as soon as he's in I know I'm gonna be I [ __ ] know I'm gonna be so of course has gone inspired like imagine with three of us in the garden [ __ ] Vegas insane that would be nuts she got signed and got a fight quite quickly which is is well for for women's MMA in Ireland which is starting to ramp up as well that's only good for foreign but yeah I think that you a doorman card it's been a while since they've been back um it's been a it's been a long time and I think something like that gives an opportunity for fighters to get like a one fight sort of a deal thing because when Conor came back it's literally the difference because like there's more to it than I knew that obviously I can't drop but like it's not just a case again like these visas and these little things if you're in America on a late notice like a fight pulls out in three weeks it's a lot harder for the UFC to bring up gay in America on that cure than the flag out Maryland get him a working Visions all this [ __ ] you know what I mean it's more to it than just [ __ ] get signed but if there's naturally a lot of shows in Europe because obviously Park the shows in Ireland it's definitely better for the local guys you know I mean yeah hopefully that does happen we can like that you can get loads of guys onto the card and then obviously see the word there because I think like that I I don't fight I've never fought but looking at the level here even from like delay amateurs like the likes to tear them and stuff I reckon they go into most she's early level like and beat their goals like the the early level grows so um yeah so we'll get there
