What a journey it has been for Adam Darby.
Adam first competed for us at Cage Legacy 2 in Drogheda back in March 2017, defeating Niall Branigan by second-round TKO.
He returned at Cage Legacy 12 in Cork in May 2019, where he challenged John Byrne for the amateur title and battled through three hard rounds.
Now, nine years after his first Cage Legacy appearance, Adam has reached the biggest opportunity of his career—headlining Dana White’s Contender Series at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
Representing Team Ryano, Adam has developed into one of Ireland’s top professional prospects. He has built a 7-1 professional record, produced six consecutive victories and earned this opportunity through years of hard work and dedication.
The show begins at 12 midnight Irish time. Adam is fighting in the main event, so his exact cage time will depend on how long the earlier fights last. Make sure you’re watching from midnight so you don’t miss him.
