I'm joined by Destiny as I'll be ahead of the Virtus.6 Light Heavyweight Championship
bout against Kieran Smollin. A week from today, August 22nd, we're a week out from the big fight.
Destiny, how are you feeling? Great, I'm feeling amazing. I feel prepared. I'm just ready to go.
We're coming in there in a big, big fight. Should be a big atmosphere. High position on the main
card. This venue, Healy Park, always tends to bring a bit of a buzz when the big fights come
around on the main card. Are you excited about getting in there under the lights and really
getting to showcase your skills? Yeah definitely you know to showcase my skills in front of loads
of different people you know if they're going to be working up towards this it's my fifth amateur
fight so just ready to win the belt. You've been on a hell of a run I mean over those those
your four and all both of you coming in here unbeaten you got a few decision wins you got the
knockout win over Johnny Ward in the last one as well and you know you must feel like you're really
finding your groove it takes sometimes people a few fights to maybe just get to grips with
you know, the ins and outs, managing the distance, the rounds, the rulesets, that kind of thing.
Talk to me a bit about how you feel you've grown over those four fights so far.
It's just mainly through cage time, trying to get more cage time, get more experience, you know,
to be able to kind of dictate my own kind of fight, you know, and that comes through cage time,
that comes through taking on fights, being active as well, you know, because to be active is to be
able to gain experience, you know, whether it's win, lose or draw, it's just important to be active,
And they got those fights in, so yeah.
